Glossary / Person updates
None this batch. All glossary terms referenced ([[principle-of-creation]], [[dual-characteristics]], [[sungsang]], [[hyungsang]], [[universal-prime-force]], [[give-and-take-action]], [[four-position-foundation]], [[purpose-of-creation]], [[formation-growth-completion-stages]], [[human-portion-of-responsibility]], [[fall]], [[spirit-world]], [[divine-constraint]], [[true-parents]], [[shimjeong]], [[believers-responsibility]], [[restoration]], [[true-love]]) and all persons ([[adam]], [[eve]], [[jesus]], [[moses]], [[elijah]], [[peter]]) exist as pre-stubs.
Note: this batch does not fill out any glossary/person bodies. Stub bodies stay empty per the prestub-glossary rule that bodies fill organically. On finalize, every Person/Glossary file whose slug is now wikilinked from one of these atomics will get its ## Referenced by section regenerated (see gotcha #1 in handoff — fixed-point iteration script).
Suspected duplicates / cross-batch notes
dp-principle-of-creation-on-populist-group-growth (existing, from BR-06): Hendricks’s reading of the same EDP Sec 2.5 passage about how individuals attract like-minded people. My new dp-humans-as-center-and-purpose-of-cosmos cites Sec 2.3.4, not the populist-pattern Sec 2.5 paragraph — no real overlap, but they sit in the same chapter and should be cross-linked during weaving. Not duplicates.
csg-adam-and-eve-as-god-incarnate and csg-god-needs-body-via-adam-and-eve: overlap in spirit with my dp-humans-as-center-and-purpose-of-cosmos (Adam-king/Eve-queen, fall left universe centerless). Different cites (CSG vs DP). The CSG atomics are stronger on the “incarnate-God” framing; the DP atomic is stronger on the structural-center framing. Both are useful; mark for thread candidate during weaving.
csg-creation-as-total-self-investment, csg-god-could-not-function-as-god, csg-god-is-prisoner-confined-by-love: overlap with my dp-joy-requires-object-partner-reflecting-self. DP grounds the claim in object-partner-stimulation; CSG grounds it in Moon’s later (more emotive) framings of God’s need. Distinct but converging. Thread candidate.
csg-god-bound-by-own-law and csg-gods-omnipotence-operates-within-principle: overlap with my dp-human-portion-of-responsibility-inviolable-even-by-god and dp-realm-of-indirect-dominion-during-growing-period. Same doctrine (divine constraint) from two source-classes. Strongest cluster for an early thread.
csg-omnipresence-mediated-by-love-not-power: covers DP Sec 2.4 (Omnipresence of God), which I deliberately did not atomize from DP because the section is one paragraph and the CSG version is more developed. No new DP atomic on omnipresence.
No DP/dp- atomic exists yet for the Sec 2.5 “multiplication of life” passage other than the existing dp-principle-of-creation-on-populist-group-growth. Sec 2.6 (“Reason all beings are composed of dual characteristics”) and Sec 2.4 (Omnipresence) similarly thin — the load-bearing claim from each is in the atomics I did write.
Tag-registry requests
Three new tags requested (each marked * in atomic tables above):
Tag
Atomics using it
Justification
purpose-of-creation
8
DP Ch 1 is literally about the purpose of creation; threading this concept across atomics needs a stable tag handle. Glossary entry already exists (/glossary/purpose-of-creation.md). Will recur in every DP chapter and most CSG chapters.
formation-growth-completion-stages
3
The 3-stage growth schema is core to DP and recurs in Chs 2, 3, 5, 6 + Part 2 providential periods. Glossary entry already exists.
spirit-world
7
Sec 6 is dense with spirit-world doctrine; DP Chs 5 (Resurrection), Part 2 throughout deal heavily with this. eschatology covers some but not all (e.g., dp-humans-rule-both-spirit-and-physical-worlds is structural, not eschatological). Glossary entry already exists.
If any of the three is rejected, the affected atomics will drop the requested tag (no other content change needed).
Parked items (also appended to _meta/parking/)
Threads: 6 entries — see _meta/parking/threads.md
Questions: 4 entries — see _meta/parking/questions.md
Web-search: 4 entries — see _meta/parking/web-search.md
Perfected individuals cannot fall (and what that does to christology) — anchors: dp-perfected-individuals-cannot-fall, dp-fall-occurred-at-top-of-growth-stage | trigger: DP §3.2 + §5.2.1 | one-line: DP’s distinctive account of sinlessness as ontological property of completion-stage individuals, not unique to Christ; will need engagement with classical Chalcedonian christology
Hell as self-elected withdrawal vs. classical eternal-punishment — anchors: dp-heaven-or-hell-self-determined-by-capacity-for-gods-love | trigger: DP §6.3.2 | one-line: needs to be developed against Augustinian/Calvinist eternal-conscious-torment vs Eastern Orthodox river-of-fire view; classical universalism (Origen, modern Bell) is a third position
Questions (4)
[interesting] Does the gendered subject=man / object=woman mapping (DP §4.3.1) survive a modern context, or is it a culturally-bound 1996 expression of a structurally non-gendered principle? — anchors: dp-love-and-beauty-as-subject-object-emotional-forces | one-line: implicates worship-leader theology, conjugal dynamics, and DP’s appeal in egalitarian cultures
[critical] If “perfected individuals cannot fall” (§3.2), how does DP account for John the Baptist’s failure to fully cooperate with Jesus (a major Ch 4 theme)? Was JtB never perfected, or is the “cannot fall” claim weaker than it reads? — anchors: dp-perfected-individuals-cannot-fall | one-line: defer to DP Ch 4 (Messiah) atomization to resolve in context
[critical] If the three-loves-required structure (§4.3.1) makes unmarried life “structurally incomplete,” does this entail that Jesus’s unmarried ministry could not, in principle, have completed the purpose of creation? — anchors: dp-three-original-loves-parental-conjugal-childrens | one-line: central premise of DP christology and True Parents; defer to DP Ch 4 + Part 2 to develop
[minor] How robust is the DP-vs-modern-science overlap claim about Genesis 1 creation order (§5.1)? Modern OT scholarship (e.g., John Walton’s Lost World of Genesis One) reads Gen 1 as ANE functional cosmology, not material origins — does DP’s concordism land or miss? — anchors: dp-six-days-as-symbolic-time-periods | one-line: small priority but the apologetic move is fragile if pressed
Web-search (4)
Karl Barth / Aseity tradition on “God needs creation” — needed-for: thread #1 (DP’s God needs creation for joy) | one-line: locate Barth’s CD II/1 §28 and classical Thomist aseity sources to steel-man the “DP’s God is dependent” critique
John Walton, The Lost World of Genesis One (2009) — needed-for: question #4 + a future Sec 5.1 thread | one-line: verify Walton’s functional-cosmology reading of Genesis 1; cite if DP’s concordism is being challenged
Augustine De civitate Dei XXI / Aquinas ST Suppl Q97-99 on eternal punishment — needed-for: thread #6 (Hell as self-elected) | one-line: locate canonical defenses of God-as-judge-imposing-torment to give DP’s hell-as-self-removal view a real opponent
Chalcedonian christology and DP’s “perfection without uniqueness” christology — needed-for: thread #4 | one-line: locate Council of Chalcedon (451) hypostatic-union texts and a contemporary Chalcedonian critique of DP christology (Christian-Research-Institute, etc.) — used when threading
How to review
Open /staging/dp-1-1-principle-of-creation/reference/ in Obsidian or VS Code. 34 atomics.
Skim by section grouping above. Each atomic targets a single load-bearing claim; check that the claim is genuine DP doctrine and that the prose doesn’t drift past the source.
Edit inline freely — re-shape, re-title, or split if a claim is doing too much work.
Reject atomics by deleting them or marking them here. Common reject reasons: claim already covered, claim too thin, claim better folded into another, claim is interpretive overreach.
Tag-registry requests above: approve or reject each of the 3 requested tags. Rejection means the atomic uses an existing tag instead (no body change needed).
Parked items: scan the threads/questions/web-search lists. If any question should be promoted to /questions/now (rather than parked), say so per-item. Default = park.
Say “approved” → finalize: move atomics to /reference/, copy REVIEW to _meta/batch-reviews/dp-1-1-principle-of-creation.md, append parked items under a ## dp-1-1-principle-of-creation — 2026-05-22 heading in each _meta/parking/*.md file, run the fixed-point Referenced-by regenerator for Person/Glossary files, delete the staging folder, single atomic commit (hook clean).
Finalize checklist
User approval received (incl. tag-registry verdict)
If tags approved: add purpose-of-creation, formation-growth-completion-stages, spirit-world to _meta/tags.md in the same commit
If tags rejected: edit affected atomics to drop the requested tag(s) (table above shows which atomics)
Move 34 files from /staging/dp-1-1-principle-of-creation/reference/ → /reference/
Copy this REVIEW to _meta/batch-reviews/dp-1-1-principle-of-creation.md
Append parked items to _meta/parking/{threads,questions,web-search}.md under ## dp-1-1-principle-of-creation — 2026-05-22
Regenerate ## Referenced by sections on every Person and Glossary file whose slug is now wikilinked from one of the new atomics (fixed-point iteration; see handoff gotcha #1)
