Batch Review — weave-0-cluster-map

Source: _meta/parking/{threads,questions,web-search}.md + threads/*.md + CONTEXT.md Scope: meta-batch — proposes the DP weaving cluster map per ADR-0022 Stage 0 Date: 2026-05-22 Variant: weaving-meta (one-time per corpus)

Summary

This batch proposes a cluster map for DP-only weaving (Part I + Part II, closed corpus). It does not produce any thread, question, or research artifact — those come in stages 1 and 2 per cluster. What you’re reviewing is the structural decision: how to slice ~94 parked thread candidates into weave-able clusters, and in what sequence.

Output: cluster-map.md in this staging directory (becomes _meta/cluster-map.md on finalize).

Proposed cluster count: 8 clusters, average 11 threads each.

Full per-cluster mapping (claim, parked threads, parked questions, parked web-search, existing-thread relationship, sequence-position rationale) is in cluster-map.md — please read that file as the actual review object.

Sequence rationale

Per ADR-0022’s sequencing rule (smallest → best-verifiable → load-bearing → rest):

  1. democracy-political-theology-and-economy (5 threads). Smallest by far. Workflow-validation cluster: enough breadth to surface batching bugs without large rollback if shape is wrong. Counter-arg sources are political-theology canon (Aquinas, Locke, Schmitt, Maritain, Catholic Social Teaching encyclicals) — moderately well-indexed.

  2. theodicy-fall-and-divine-constraint (13 threads). Best-verifiable: 6 of 8 web-search items are canonical/patristic (Augustine, Aquinas, Calvin, Barth, Molina, Edwards). Citation-pipeline shakedown before tackling modern-paywalled sources. Connects to two existing CSG-sourced threads — natural upgrade-pass test.

  3. christology-and-atonement (16 threads, load-bearing). The largest cluster and the one with most weight against grounds-for-the-uc-messianic-claim. Runs after workflow + citation-pipeline are trusted.

  4. eschatology-resurrection-and-hell (14 threads, load-bearing). Heavy Romans 5 / 1 Cor 15 / Revelation engagement.

  5. restoration-mechanics-and-genesis-rereadings (14 threads, load-bearing). DP’s distinctive narrative mechanics; needs Westermann/Wenham/Brueggemann Genesis corpus.

  6. comparative-religion-and-korea-as-locus (10 threads).

  7. chronology-and-providential-periods (9 threads).

  8. world-wars-and-philosophy-of-history (11 threads).

Existing-thread coverage

Of the 7 existing threads in /threads/:

  • 5 are anchors or sub-claims in DP clusters (grounds-for-uc-messianic-claim, thread-love-above-omnipotence, thread-why-god-had-no-choice-but-to-create, thread-mandatory-structure-of-restoration, uc-philosophy-unifies-what-world-religions). Stage-2 weaving in their cluster will decide keep / upgrade / subsume / split per ADR-0022.
  • 2 are orthogonal to DP-only weave (what-kind-of-religion-is-uc-taxonomically [BR/Hendricks sociology], thread-jehovah-as-angel-vs-mainstream-ot-scholarship [pure CSG]). Defer to future CSG / BR weaving pass.

Cross-cluster threads

Two parked threads straddle cluster boundaries (dp-1-2 Relative-goodness; dp-2-6b God’s-side/Satan’s-side criterion). Primary placement and secondary-fit notes are in cluster-map.md.

What you’re reviewing

Read cluster-map.md in this directory. For each of the 8 proposed clusters, decide:

  • Accept the cluster as-is, or
  • Merge with another cluster (e.g., “merge #7 chronology into #8 world-wars”), or
  • Split into two (e.g., “split #3 christology into pure-christology and atonement-mechanism”), or
  • Reject (return parked threads to parking, defer to a future pass), or
  • Reassign individual parked threads between clusters (e.g., “move Two-foundation messianic prerequisite from #5 to #3 christology”).

Also: set sequence. The proposed order honors ADR-0022’s smallest → best-verifiable → load-bearing → rest rule, but override is fine (“do #3 christology first because that’s where I want to invest my review attention”).

How to review / finalize

  1. Read staging/weave-0-cluster-map/cluster-map.md. Sanity-checks:
    • Every parked thread in _meta/parking/threads.md appears in exactly one cluster (or is explicitly deferred).
    • No cluster has fewer than 3 thread candidates (the ADR-0022 small-cluster threshold for being weave-worthy).
    • Sequence rationale matches your priorities.
  2. Edit cluster-map.md in place to merge / split / reassign / reject as needed.
  3. Approve by saying “finalize the cluster map” — AI will then:
    • Copy this REVIEW to _meta/batch-reviews/weave-0-cluster-map.md
    • Move cluster-map.md to _meta/cluster-map.md
    • Delete this staging directory
    • Commit
  4. Stage 1 (research batch) for the first cluster begins next.
