Claim. The 777 Couples Blessing of 1970 perfected the number seven providentially and bestowed on any nation or tribe in the world the privilege to enter God’s providence — at the cost of a three-year mobilization in which Blessed Families were broken up to indemnify the nation.
Elaboration. SMM gives the numerical reading: “This number is triple seven, and so it is the final one. It is the final one in the realm of God’s providence on the national level. Through the Blessing of the 777 Couples in 1970, the time had finally come in which any nation could enter the realm of God’s providence” (2.3. History of the 777, 1800, 6000 and 6500 couples, 84-148, 1976.2.22). The three-year course was brutal: “I broke up all these families and sent them out in different directions … in order that the tribes and people of this nation could be saved” (ibid, 143-180, 1986.3.18). Couples “left their children at home … wrapped their babies in blankets and left them on the doorsteps of their parents’ houses at night, before setting out” — the condition was to “love their nation more than their own sons and daughters” (ibid, 198-328, 1990.2.11). The Blessing therefore was not the destination but a launchpad for national-level indemnity.
