Claim. A Blessing received “in the church” is incomplete; the providence requires the same couple to pass through national-level and world-level Blessings before registration into the Kingdom is possible.

Elaboration. SMM stratifies the Blessing into three stages: “The Blessing in the Unification Church goes through three stages: the church, national and world levels. That is why the Blessed Families of today must go beyond their current position” (1.2. Registration occurs in the era of the national level Blessing, 285-235, 1997.6.5). The reason is structural: “Originally, these three should have been accomplished in the generation of Adam, but this did not materialize and it has been postponed until the era of the returning Lord” (ibid, 290-253, 1998.3.2). Registration cannot precede national restoration: “At the present, the Blessing is being carried out within the Church because we do not have a nation, but in the future we need to be registered in the nation. You can be registered only when you have fulfilled your responsibility as tribal messiahs” (ibid, 269-65, 1995.4.7). The three-stage Blessing mirrors the formation-growth-completion-stages structure; church-level alone is therefore a formation-stage milestone, not a finishing line.
