Elaboration. SMM says man symbolizes heaven and woman earth, and their differences “fit together well” when they harmonize in love (CSG 4.5 §5, Blessed Family 344). When man and woman become one body through love and bear love’s fruit, “God comes down and they go up and they meet in the middle.” This middle becomes the center of a sphere, the place where life begins and equality takes root.
