Elaboration. SMM rejects power, wealth, and knowledge as the final basis of happiness, saying people still need parents, spouse, and children (CSG 4.11 §2, 45-320, 1971.7.28). Even God cannot be happy alone; He needs an object partner of love. This links human happiness with the divine pattern of subject and object in love. The implication is that personal fulfillment is relational by creation, and any account of happiness that excludes God and family is structurally incomplete.
