Elaboration. SMM consolidates the argument: “The Fall changed Adam and Eve’s lineage. Whose love changed it? They became the embodiments of Satan through his love as God’s adulterous enemy. The living body of the man and the living body of the woman entered the realm of Satan’s love and united based on that; the fruit of this was their children who inherited Satan’s love, life and lineage” (1.3. Reasons for receiving the Blessing, 227-41, 1992.2.10). He cites Romans 8 (adoption-language as evidence of altered bloodline) and John 8:44 (“‘You belong to your father, the devil’”) to argue that scripture itself testifies to a Satanic ancestry (ibid, 53-261, 1972.3.1; 154-337, 1964.10.5). The “fruit of the knowledge of good and evil” is reinterpreted: it “is not actually a fruit. It is the act of the servant violating the daughter of his master” (ibid, 85-308, 1976.3.4). Lineage is therefore the operative category for both the diagnosis and the cure.
