Elaboration. “Our family … pledges … to perfect the world based on the culture of heart, which is rooted in the original lineage, by centering on true love” (5.2. The content of the Family Pledge, 260-160, 1994.5.2). The cultural-singularity claim is direct: “There can be only one culture and not two. The fallen world is overflowing with many cultures. Only when we have united them into one can we welcome the Kingdom of Heaven at the level of the individual, family, tribe, people, nation, world and cosmos” (ibid, 260-196, 1994.5.8). The original-lineage anchor matters because lineage “should be neither changed nor defiled.” Culture is concretely hospitable: “an era in which every family will want to serve other families in the world as their own brothers and sisters” (264-202, 1994.10.9). The implication: SMM frames pluralism as a Fall-era condition; the eschaton is structurally monocultural in the sense of one shared heart-culture, while the five races remain coexistent as siblings.
