Claim. God’s Kingdom begins from the family because the family contains the basic relational form of heavenly sovereignty.

Elaboration. SMM says the family is “the basic unit of the Kingdom of Heaven” and includes grandparents, parents, spouse, and children (CSG 4.11 §3, 124-267, 1983.2.27). This household represents more than private affection; it is a miniature of heavenly order and sovereignty. Conjugal and family love become the beginning point of the Kingdom because they establish the relations through which God can dwell. The family therefore has eschatological weight: it is the seed-form of heaven, not merely a preparation for it.
