Elaboration. §1.4 systematizes the lineage-Fall doctrine and reads Paul accordingly. “The Fall changed Adam and Eve’s lineage. Whose love changed it? They became the embodiments of Satan through his love as God’s adulterous enemy… the fruit of this was their children who thereby inherited Satan’s love, life and lineage” (1.4. Humankind inherited Satan’s lineage through the Fall, 227-47, 1992.2.10). The Pauline corroboration: “In Romans 8, it is written, ‘And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons’… An adopted child has a different lineage” (ibid, 154-337, 1964.10.5). The implication is doctrinal: standard Christian forgiveness theology can resolve sins of intent and action but cannot reverse a corrupted bloodline, so restoration must include a lineage-transfer mechanism (the blessing) and a messiah who literally engrafts new lineage.
