Claim. Jesus’ mission is interpreted as including the establishment of God’s family through a bride and restored household.
Elaboration. SMM says that Jesus came as the Son of God and should have found a bride, established a family, and fulfilled God’s will on earth (CSG 4.10 §5, 21-199, 1968.11.20). Without that family foundation, the will remained unfulfilled and history moved toward the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. This frames messiahship in familial rather than only sacrificial terms. Jesus saves, but the complete providential aim also requires a restored marriage and family that can become the root of God’s lineage.
