Claim. The “Marriage Supper of the Lamb” (Revelation 19) is the event that terminates Adam and Eve’s historical failure to marry under God and actualizes the True Parents — from that point the world of love flows.
Elaboration. SMM reads the apocalyptic wedding as the actualization of True Parents: “The event that overcomes and terminates Adam and Eve’s historic failure to marry in the Garden of Eden, that actualizes the True Parents, is the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. When the True Parents are wedded in that most sacred ceremony, their sons and daughters will also be able to get married within that tradition. Everything of the world of love desired by God would begin to flow, encompassed in the ideal of the True Parents” (CSG 15.3 §3, 296-237, 1998.11.10). The marriage is therefore not symbolic. It is the historical hinge by which the family form of God’s Kingdom becomes available to all blessed couples. A complementary diagnosis of the Fall reinforces the point: “Did not false parents emerge from the Fall? Thus, true parents must appear” (208-303, 1990.11.21). The wedding of the Lamb is what makes that appearance substantial.
