Claim. Original sin is not transmitted forensically through Adam’s guilt but biologically through lineage — which is why God’s six-thousand-year course of gradual restoration was required rather than an instant divine pardon.
Elaboration. SMM derives the temporal slowness of restoration directly from the lineage thesis: “Restoration has taken six thousand biblical years because of the complications involving lineage; otherwise, the almighty God would have restored everything in a day. People contracted a chronic disease that affected their lineage, so if God had tried to remove this disease at once, they would have died. That is why it took Him six thousand years. Can you say Adam and Eve fell by eating a fruit? If it were true, how simple things would be!” (2.2. Original sin is inherited through lineage, 155-295, 1965.11.1). The Fall’s diagnostic is also specified: “First of all they fell because of disbelief in God’s commandment… The second reason was their self-centeredness. Thirdly, they tried to love in a self-centered way” (ibid, 79-198, 1975.7.27). This three-element fallen nature — disbelief, self-centeredness, self-centered love — is the inherited disposition, transmitted through lineage rather than through individual repetition.
