Claim. A person’s realm of ownership and standing in the spirit-world is set by how many people they witnessed to, raised, and brought into the Kingdom of Heaven during their earthly lifetime.
Elaboration. SMM ties spirit-world status directly to evangelistic results: “When you go to the spirit world, your realm of ownership will be set according to how many people you have brought to God’s Kingdom. They will be your eternal fortune” (3.3. Ownership in the spirit world is decided on earth, 218-227, 1991.8.19). The criterion is people, not assets: “When you go to the spirit world, you will not be going there with money. You do not go there in the name of the Unification Church either … What you should do from now on is to see how many sons and daughters loved by God you can create” (ibid, 230-25, 1992.4.15). Spatial geometry follows: “If the people you have witnessed to are spread widely across the world, you will have more paths on which to come and go, covering a wider area within the spirit world” (ibid). The doctrine recasts witnessing from optional service to the central activity that determines one’s eternal capacity. Even churches and parents who fail this criterion arrive in the spirit world with shrunken territory.
