Claim. At the Second Advent, all life-spirits in Paradise descend to earthly believers who can attain divine-spirit level by attending the returning Lord. Sooner or later — depending on faith, inborn nature, and ancestral merit — every Christian believer will be guided by these returning spirits toward Christ at the Second Advent. Christianity is destined to be united through this mechanism.
Elaboration. Per 3.1. The Unification of Christianity through Returning Resurrection: “All life spirits who dwell in Paradise descend to the people on earth who, by believing in and attending the Lord, can attain the level of divine spirit. By cooperating with these people… the spirits can share the same benefit and enter the Kingdom of Heaven.”
“Although the time of visitation may vary according to an individual’s faith, inborn nature, and the accomplishments of his ancestors… sooner or later each believer will be guided by the spirits from Paradise to go before Christ at the Second Advent… For this reason, Christianity is destined to be united.”
Doctrinal force:
- Christian unification is eschatologically inevitable, not a goal-to-be-achieved by human ecumenical effort.
- The mechanism is spirit-world-led: NT life-spirits themselves are motivated to descend (their own elevation depends on it).
- Denominational divisions are time-limited; they collapse as Paradise-spirits sweep every devout Christian toward the Second Advent.
- Christianity-internal version of cultural-sphere convergence — same mechanism, different scales.
Contested by denominational permanence, Reformed cessationism (no extra-biblical spirit-guidance), and any ecclesiology that resists “the True Parents are the next development of Christianity” framing.
