Claim. Through the Fall, humankind inherited Satan’s lineage; this lineage is eliminated through the ceremony of the transfer of lineage that takes place before the Blessing Ceremony, by which True Parents’ true love, true life, and true lineage are received in place of the satanic inheritance.

Elaboration. Moon makes the lineage-transfer mechanism explicit: “After the Fall, human beings inherited Satan’s lineage. This is the problem… how can we eliminate the dirty lineage Adam and Eve inherited from the Fall? True Parents are the ones who have come with true love, true life and true lineage in order to eliminate it” (4.5. We should be grateful). The framing names the Fall in concrete biological-genealogical terms: not merely a moral lapse but a lineage corruption transmitted across generations.

The ritual locus is named: “This also signifies the ceremony of the transfer of lineage that takes place before the Blessing Ceremony of the Unification Church.” The change-of-lineage ceremony precedes the Blessing proper — it is the prerequisite that makes the Blessing efficacious. Without prior lineage transfer, the new couple would still be marrying within satanic lineage; the transfer constitutes the 180-degree turn “from Satan’s tradition” into rebirth.

The biological-resurrection imagery is striking: “They have been raising up lives using Satan’s lineage as fertilizer. But in the new age of resurrection, the body grows based on God’s love, life, and lineage and uses true love as fertilizer. One side disappears and the other prospers.” The fertilizer metaphor implies that satanic lineage is being metabolized and replaced rather than annihilated — recursive substitution within the body of the believer.

The three-generation completion problem is also stated here: “God wants three generations but has not had them. The first generation is God, the second generation is Adam and Eve, and yet God has not had the third generation until now. Humankind has not been multiplying under God, but has belonged only to Satan.” The Blessing-with-lineage-transfer is what finally gives God a third generation.

This is core distinctive UC soteriology. Evangelical critique typically engages on (a) the absence of this mechanism in the New Testament, (b) whether the Fall is really a lineage event, and (c) the displacement of the cross by a sacramental ceremony. UC apologetics responds via John 8:44 (“your father the devil”) and Romans 5:12 (sin entering through one man) as biological-lineage texts. Worth a thread once counter atomics on substitutionary atonement and forensic justification exist.
