Claim. True Parents accomplish what no prior religious or philosophical figure could: they connect the realm of indirect dominion (growth stage, faith-based) to the realm of direct dominion (completion stage, love-based) by way of true love, opening passage between the spiritual and physical worlds.
Elaboration. Moon makes the structural claim plainly: “I connected the realm of indirect dominion and the realm of direct dominion by means of God’s and True Parents’ love. Accordingly, the way opened to go back and forth between the spiritual and physical worlds over a bridge of love” (4.2. The appearance of True Parents is the greatest news, 131-187, 1984.5.1).
This is core Principle technical content. The three growth stages are distinct realms by divine design — indirect dominion is the realm of growth (faith, partial knowledge, fallibility), direct dominion is the realm of completion (love, full knowledge, established perfection). Adam and Eve fell during the growth period, never crossing into direct dominion. UC theology holds that no one has done so since — until True Parents.
The bridge is true love specifically, not faith or works or revelation: “the only time they become one is when human beings — Adam and Eve — reach maturity. At that time, true horizontal love automatically appears. When they embrace each other at that point, saying, ‘Oh, you are my partner,’ true love appears at the center of that couple.” Maturity-plus-true-love is the threshold; once crossed, the realms unify “automatically.”
The polarity language is electrical: “When positively charged love appears in perfection, negatively charged love is bound to appear immediately. When positively charged love comes down to negatively charged love and they engage, they determine the standard of true love.” This is the give-and-take action operating at the apex of creation — God’s positive love descends, finds its partner-pole in the mature horizontal couple, and the love-standard is set.
The eschatological consequence: “the world is converted into a utopian sphere.” Realm-bridging is the mechanism by which the kingdom of heaven on earth becomes possible. Without True Parents to set the standard, the bridge does not form; with them, transformation propagates outward.
Moon names this “the gospel of all gospels” — the explicit ranking above the Christian evangel. “There is no news better than that of True Parents. In the fallen world a true husband and wife will not appear without True Parents appearing first.” The True Parents claim does not coexist with the cross-and-resurrection gospel; it supersedes it.
Critics (evangelical, exegetical) typically engage on (a) whether “indirect/direct dominion” is biblically warranted and (b) the gospel-supersession claim. Worth a thread once counter atomics on evangelical eschatology exist.
