[00:26] Okay, part 10, challenges for True Parents. [00:30] The only begotten daughter’s role [00:33] in protecting heaven’s providence. [00:35] So in the last presentation we talked about heaven’s role in [00:39] protecting mother, but it would come to pass [00:42] that mother had great work ahead of her in order [00:45] to protect heaven now and protect heaven’s providence. [00:51] Let’s look at the mission of True Father at that time, [00:54] mother said true father was born in 1920 into [00:58] a Confucian family. [01:00] His family converted to Christianity in 1930, [01:03] and then his mission [01:05] that was bestowed on him would happen when he was 15. [01:08] That was Easter morning. So what was his mission? [01:11] Look at this. You’ve got, um, [01:17] Jesus, 2000 years ago, the resurrection Christianity [01:22] for 2000 years. [01:24] Sun Young Moon, born into a Confucian family. [01:27] Family converts around this age, [01:30] and then a little bit more at 15 on Easter morning, [01:35] uh, he meets Jesus. [01:38] He would from this point, need to be, need [01:40] to perfect himself to become, uh, [01:43] a true son on the foundation of Jesus inheritance. [01:46] Meanwhile, on the other side, [01:48] you have true mother born on a Christian foundation in 1943. [01:52] We’ve just discussed all that that happened here. [01:55] And so this is the, this is happening at different times. [01:59] This is 1920, his course [02:01] and later mother’s course of 1943. [02:06] So let’s look at the mission of Father in particular. [02:10] Okay, next. [02:13] Mother says He was to achieve that what [02:16] that which Jesus wanted to achieve while on Earth. [02:19] That was the path of the second advent. [02:23] So remember Jesus resurrection, [02:27] working together with the Holy Spirit [02:29] as the spiritual true parents, right? [02:33] Finally, after 2000 years, the foundation was set. [02:37] Uh, Christian nation was formed in on the Korean Peninsula. [02:40] Uh, people were prepared. [02:42] And in 1935, Jesus m met with Father, [02:47] the young, the young sang young Moon asking, [02:51] please help me fulfill my mission. [02:55] So what was that mission? [02:58] Mother says, the purpose of Jesus’ return was [03:01] to conduct the marriage supper of the lamb. [03:03] Well, what was that? Let’s look at the words [03:05] of true father here. [03:06] And what was he saying at that time? [03:08] Some of father’s words, ladies [03:12] and gentlemen, consider this [03:14] what would’ve happened if Jesus, the only begotten son [03:18] had come to this earth [03:19] and not died since Jesus was said, [03:22] to be the only begotten son, [03:24] God would have sent an only begotten daughter. [03:29] This is all in 1959 [03:31] and this just months before the Holy wedding. [03:33] In fact, father said, Ecclesiastes 7 28 states. [03:37] Though I have searched with my heart, I have not found, [03:41] I found one man among a thousand, [03:44] but not one woman among them. [03:47] The 2000 year history of God is a history [03:50] of seeking a bride. [03:52] It is a history of finding a bride. [03:55] Can you deny that it is a history of finding a bride? [04:01] Now, commonly it’s thought in Christianity that the bride [04:04] that, that God is seeking [04:06] or the bride that Jesus is seeking in the last days is the [04:09] body of the church or the faithful among the church. [04:14] But in fact, those of you who understand the essence [04:16] of God’s nature and the per principles of creation [04:20] and the whole story behind Adam and Eve [04:22] and the purpose behind that [04:24] and the desire of God to live through a substantial, uh, [04:28] true parents, both male [04:29] and female on the earth, you know [04:31] that it’s not just a hero messiah that we’re looking for [04:34] however great that Messiah may be. [04:37] We’re actually looking for something much more. [04:40] We’re looking for the original ideal. [04:42] We’re looking for true parents. [04:44] And you need both a man and a woman. [04:48] You need both a husband and a wife. [04:51] You need both a bride’s groom and a bride. [04:55] So the meaning of this quote, right, the 2000 year history [04:59] of God is a history of seeking a bride. [05:04] Can you deny that it’s really about this one woman [05:09] that God is longing to find [05:13] can be said very simply that the meaning [05:16] of father’s words is to say that the 2000 year history [05:20] of Christianity is to find Jesus bride, [05:23] the only begotten daughter. [05:25] That is to say the entire purpose of Christianity is [05:30] to find God’s daughter. [05:32] Can you fathom how massive a statement that is? [05:37] Do you understand? We have the 2000 years, [05:40] and finally, Jesus, there’s a picture of him [05:43] as a kid, not a real picture. [05:44] Of course, he finds someone he can work through, [05:47] and the purpose of this man is [05:50] to fulfill this man’s mission, which is to find her. [05:54] And here she is. The purpose of all of this 2000 year course [05:59] of Christian history is to find God’s daughter. [06:03] Isn’t that incredible? [06:06] Incredible, okay, question. [06:09] If Jesus goal was to find God’s only begotten daughter, then [06:12] what was the primary mission of the second coming? [06:16] His primary mission was to find God’s daughter. [06:20] Okay, so those of you who have studied [06:22] and researched, uh, the life of, uh, father Moon, [06:24] you’ll know this man is incredible. [06:27] And he from a young age took on this mission at the risk [06:30] of his life, quite frankly, and started [06:32] to preach also at the risk of his life, a new teaching [06:35] and a new truth gathering from here [06:38] and there in dialogue with spirit world [06:40] and copious study of the Bible in multiple languages, [06:43] this man was incredible. [06:45] And from his young early years, he sought out [06:48] to fulfill the mission that Jesus gave him. [06:50] But remember, what did I tell you earlier? [06:53] There may have been things, [06:55] and this is Damien Dunkley’s opinion, [06:57] but there may have been things [06:58] that Jesus could not exactly explain to Father explicitly [07:02] because it would be father’s understand father’s [07:05] responsibility to discover [07:07] father’s responsibility to understand. [07:10] And you just heard Father mentioning these quotes from the [07:14] Bible and these ideas that surely God would be seeking [07:17] for 2000 years a bride. [07:19] Where’s the bride? Even if I find one man among them, [07:22] I have not found one woman among them. [07:23] This is God’s longing heart to find God’s daughter. [07:26] Father knew this in some sense [07:28] and spoke more than once about God’s daughter [07:32] and the centrality of the role of God’s daughter. [07:36] And so here, when we understand Jesus’ role, if the role [07:41] of Jesus was to find God’s daughter, [07:43] then the primary mission of the second coming must be [07:45] to find God’s daughter to do the central thing [07:49] that we stopped Jesus doing 2000 years ago. [07:52] This is it. The 2000 year history [07:54] of Christianity is the preparation [07:57] to find God’s only begotten daughter. [08:00] We are in that time [08:01] and it is our responsibility to receive it, right? [08:09] So what does Mother think about this? [08:10] Because she’s known this for decades, [08:14] and even Father somehow knew it and spoke of it, [08:17] but it wasn’t emphasized. [08:19] And so now Mother is forced to reveal it [08:23] after Foundation Day [08:25] and proclaiming only begotten daughter [08:27] for the last several years, mother has been [08:31] unfolding the pearls hidden deep within her heart [08:37] that somehow she was prevented from sharing, [08:41] or rather we were prevented from hearing [08:44] or understanding until this time. [08:46] But now, finally, true mother reveals [08:50] her thoughts about this and in particular her thoughts [08:53] and her revelation about father’s [08:56] responsibility and what happened. [08:59] And this needs to be received with prayer. [09:03] And I’ll get to some more comments on this later, but [09:16] mother has a very, very important [09:17] and deep reason why she’s conveying these things. [09:21] And these are all words that she has conveyed [09:23] in her public messages. [09:25] She said this, the one to take on the responsibility [09:28] of the second coming should not have had a family [09:31] of his own accord before meeting the only begotten daughter. [09:35] Now, for those who knew father [09:38] and served with father for many years, it may be difficult [09:42] to uh, hear that, [09:46] but mother’s very clear here, the one [09:49] to take on the responsibility of the second coming, [09:53] the second comings responsibility [09:55] was to find God’s daughter. [09:56] Is it not? That means God’s daughter is a central person. [10:00] She’s not someone to be selected from among a crowd. [10:04] She is a purposeful [10:09] daughter of God. [10:11] Therefore, the pur the person that was responsible [10:14] to find her should not have had a family [10:17] before finding her, should not have had a family [10:24] Unfortunately, it seems that this was one [10:28] of the major missing pieces in the early ministry of [10:32] Reverend Moon, and he was doing amazing things. [10:36] But what mothers revealing now is that there was a, [10:39] there was one degree of emphasis that was, uh, [10:43] mis emphasized, let’s say, right? [10:45] She goes on the one to take on the responsibility [10:48] of the second coming, should not have a family of his own [10:52] before meeting the only begotten daughter. [10:54] And then she says, this took place in South Korea, [10:59] but heaven told true father to go to North Korea. [11:02] So many members know the story of Father, um, [11:07] sacrificing everything at the drop of a hat, [11:09] following God’s call to go to the North Korea. [11:11] But what mothers asking us to understand, here’s why, [11:16] why would father, why would father be sent [11:19] to North Korea by God? [11:21] And mother’s asking that question, why would heaven do that? [11:25] He went on the brink of death. [11:29] That means what mother’s saying here is to go [11:31] to North Korea at that time as a South Korean, as a man, [11:36] as a South Korean Christian preacher, are you kidding me? [11:40] The worst place to go [11:41] in the world would’ve been North Korea. [11:42] It’s a death center death sentence. [11:46] But nonetheless, he went to the north with an attitude [11:51] of absolute obedience, right? [11:54] He obeyed God’s command [11:56] and went to the north, risking his life, right? [12:01] So what was going on here first was Father tried [12:04] to settle, right? [12:06] Tried to settle a family, [12:08] but he was not supposed to do that prior [12:12] to meeting the only begotten daughter. [12:14] Now, you can argue that all you like, [12:18] but the person who knows Father more than any person in [12:20] human history, mother is proclaiming this very, very clearly [12:26] and ju and, and, and right [12:28] after this, uh, is happening in the South, [12:33] he’s sent to the North mother’s [12:37] drawing this out for a reason. [12:39] But she’s also pointing out that he went in great faith. [12:44] He went on the brink of death [12:46] and she really, um, honors the fact [12:49] that he risked everything to do so [12:52] in the end while witnessing in the North. [12:53] True father ended up in Hong prison, [12:55] and eventually he went south thanks to the UN forces. [12:58] So the UN forces were also liberating. [13:02] True Father, right? He risked his life. [13:06] He went to prison, but he was liberated by God [13:10] and got back to the South. [13:13] Amazing. And there he wrote the original version [13:17] of the Divine Principle in Posan [13:19] and the Holy Spirit Association for the unification [13:21] of world Christianity was eventually founded. [13:23] So, you know, mother wants to really understand, [13:28] wants us to understand what was Father’s mission, [13:32] what was the course father needed to [13:37] accomplish during this time? [13:39] Until now, we’ve only understood from his words, [13:41] and it was constantly a series of revealing truth [13:45] and being misunderstood or mistreated [13:47] and having to pay indemnity for other people’s mistakes. [13:51] But actually mothers revealing a deeper cause. [13:55] Nonetheless, after all this price was paid, he went back [14:00] to the South, revealed the truth. [14:02] The Wally Wbon was, was created [14:06] and he was able to continue with the mission. [14:10] And this is the associ. [14:12] This is the beginning of the Holy Spirit Association [14:15] for the unification of world Christianity. [14:21] This was a situation of true father [14:24] who received his holy wedding date as March 16th, 1960, [14:28] but it was not up to him to choose the bride, even just days [14:32] before the Ho Holy Wedding. [14:33] Still no one was chosen. Okay? [14:37] So check it out. [14:39] Father was given a date to [14:43] conduct a holy wedding. [14:46] We know that Father already had a couple of marriages [14:50] before this, and while that may not seem strange [14:55] to a general audience, [14:57] what Mother is saying is his mission was to fulfill [15:00] that which Jesus couldn’t accomplish. [15:03] And that was starting with finding God’s daughter [15:06] so you don’t marry someone else along the way to that, [15:12] and also what Father declared around this time is [15:17] that he received the date of the Holy wedding, [15:20] but there’s no mention of Father saying that he received [15:23] that date before then. [15:24] That would mean that the previous marriages were [15:29] occurred on dates that were not declared by heaven. [15:34] And that also means that [15:38] those other weddings weren’t [15:40] what you would call holy wedding. [15:41] So it doesn’t add up for those that, uh, presume [15:45] or wish to think that, you know, [15:50] the first wife could have somehow, uh, fulfilled the role [15:54] of God’s only begotten daughter. [15:56] It doesn’t make sense on many levels. [15:58] And mothers revealing why. [15:59] First of all, she wasn’t the only begotten daughter. [16:02] The only begotten daughter is not a restorational figure. [16:05] She’s not someone that is raised by the, the, [16:09] the male Messiah or the Lord of the Second advent. [16:11] She is in her own right born pure [16:13] and true as God’s daughter also. [16:17] So the, the first wife was not God’s daughter, [16:20] but also the first wedding or the second wedding. [16:22] There was no mention of it being a holy wedding. [16:25] They weren’t Holy weddings. [16:27] It wasn’t expressed as the marriage shopper [16:30] of the lamb or a Holy, holy wedding. [16:31] And there was no holy date given to Father [16:33] for those holy weddings. [16:35] He was simply following the natural practice of the time. [16:37] So according to the, uh, practice of the time, [16:41] there was absolutely nothing wrong with Father marrying. [16:44] He needs a wife, he needs to form a family, [16:48] but it wasn’t God’s will, it wasn’t God’s primary will [16:51] that he do so before finding the only daughter. [16:55] And maybe Jesus wasn’t able to really, uh, explain it to him [16:59] because it was father’s responsibility to figure out. [17:03] Remember also just a few slides ago, [17:04] mother saying it was father’s responsibility [17:08] to declare who Mother is. [17:10] So if it’s his responsibility to declare who Mother is, [17:13] that would mean that it was also his responsibility [17:16] to understand and to know who mother was. [17:19] So that’s what mother’s trying to get at here. [17:24] And so just days [17:25] before the Holy Wedding, [17:27] there was still no one chosen at this time. [17:30] Father was not looking just, you know, whimsically [17:34] or by chance or [17:36] because an auntie suggested so a, a, [17:38] a spouse for him or something like this. [17:40] Father was deeply serious, serious, serious. [17:43] He had, he had received a date. [17:45] He knew that he had to find the correct person [17:48] to be his bride. [17:50] He knew that this person was extremely important [17:52] and he wouldn’t be able to choose according to his own [17:56] desire or thinking. [17:59] So now he understood that [18:01] and he was desperately looking for the signs [18:03] that would lead, you know, to heaven’s will. [18:07] And this is what Mother explains. [18:09] She says, I was a student at the time [18:10] and I was in the dormitory, but a woman I knew came by [18:13] and told me to come out because my mother was [18:15] in critical condition. [18:16] So come, come your mother is sick, come quickly, HETA Heta, [18:21] you know, come your mother is sick. [18:23] Well, so she ran immediately. [18:26] She came out and found actually [18:28] that her mother was not in critical condition, [18:31] but she did find that father was, [18:35] or as they called him at the time, teacher, [18:38] the Reverend Moon, the Reverend Son Young Moon at the time [18:41] was in a critical condition. [18:43] Mother says it was a situation where the day [18:47] of the wedding feast was set, but there was no bride. [18:50] So father had a date [18:51] and that date was coming like a train engine, [18:55] but there was still no bride. [18:56] And father was becoming desperate. [18:59] And I think the deeper meaning behind these words [19:01] that Mother is sharing here is that it wasn’t just, [19:04] that wasn’t the only thing that Father was struggling with. [19:08] Mother could also understand that the [19:12] environment of the providence had already suffered several [19:16] blows, and that father needed help. [19:22] When I looked at the situation, I had been in a relationship [19:25] with heaven for 17 years, [19:26] and the circumstances of heavenly parent [19:28] that I knew could not extend the providence any longer. [19:31] So heaven asked me for help. [19:32] This is our beloved mother, holy Mother Han, [19:35] true mother, the mother of peace. [19:37] This is her subjective declaration. [19:40] This is her subjective declaration of her experience of [19:43] what God revealed to her from a very, very young age. [19:47] And she says, I knew I could not extend the providence any [19:51] longer heavenly parent that I knew [19:55] she wanted to help, right? [19:57] Asked me for help. So I decided it won’t work without me, [20:00] and I had to help heavenly parent. [20:02] I knew I had to step in [20:04] to fulfill the dream of the providence. [20:05] So I said I would do it. [20:07] But think about it, I was only 17 and my partner was 40. [20:10] That’s not easy, right? [20:12] Nonetheless, our beloved mother determined [20:16] to save the providence. [20:18] This is really quite, quite incredible, quite incredible. [20:23] So what are those challenges [20:28] that true parents were facing? [20:30] Uh, certainly the foundation for the Lord [20:32] of the Second advent to emerge [20:33] and for the God’s only begotten daughter [20:36] to emerge that was set. [20:37] And there’s all this war and confusion going on, [20:41] and heaven is doing everything it can to protect mother [20:45] and Father, but Father has already married two times. [20:50] And you know, those marriages didn’t come to [20:55] much in the end, [20:57] but it did create a, an environment [21:00] that was already touched. [21:02] Like that environment was supposed to be untouched [21:05] and prepared for mother to meet mother. [21:08] So whatever ramifications, whatever results [21:15] that was that, that, that were happening [21:17] because of father’s preparation course to that time, [21:23] mother is now stepping into that situation. [21:26] Father’s running out of time, he’s got, uh, [21:29] certain complications. [21:31] And Mother as a young, pure, beautiful 17-year-old girl [21:34] who has, you know, only 17, [21:36] but already mature enough to understand God [21:39] as her heavenly parent, understand God as her parent, [21:41] understand her role as God’s daughter, [21:44] un understanding her role [21:46] to help substantiate the completion of God’s providence, [21:49] and also understanding her role, needing [21:51] to step in like right now, despite those difficulties, [21:54] despite those circumstances, despite all of that, [21:57] she’s stepping in with the determination to do it. [22:00] Like, do you believe her? Do you understand her? [22:04] Just because you’ve understood it to be one way [22:07] for all these years, why would you doubt [22:10] what mother’s saying here, right? [22:12] Just because it might be slightly different than [22:14] what you understood in the past. [22:16] I get it. But we’re talking about true mother [22:18] here, this person. [22:19] I don’t know any other person like that. [22:23] Uh, I don’t, I would not dare claim [22:26] to understand more than mother. [22:28] And so, um, that’s, that’s ridiculous. [22:33] So what mother’s really revealing here in a very subtle way [22:38] is, you know, even though father [22:42] must have understood to some degree, you know, [22:46] 2000 year period [22:47] of Christian history is the preparation to find God’s daughter. [22:50] And father also understood [22:51] that God was looking for a daughter. [22:52] Yes, father understood that it would be about a marriage. [22:56] Father understood that it would be about a family. [22:58] He understood almost everything, [23:00] but he didn’t know who God’s daughter was. [23:03] And this man who was taking on the burden of the entire [23:07] humankind to restore that, that [23:09] that which was lost 6,000 years ago [23:11] and to complete that, which even Jesus [23:14] was stopped from completing is incredible. [23:22] But this was not an easy situation. [23:27] Um, and yet here we have mother born [23:30] and mature enough to take on the responsibility [23:32] to embrace Father [23:34] and to conduct the marriage supper of the lamb. [23:39] Okay, let’s dive into Part 11, [23:42] the marriage supper of the Lamb. [23:44] This is the Lord of the Second advent [23:47] and God’s only begotten daughter, finding one another [23:50] to conduct the marriage supper of the land. [23:53] This is a good news situation, guys, [23:58] mother says, at 10:00 AM on April 11th, 1960 Solar [24:03] Calendar, we conducted the Holy wedding. [24:06] or so members chosen from our churches across Korea, [24:09] gathered at the Ong Pong Church [24:10] to attend this blended event, long awaited [24:14] by our heavenly parent. [24:16] The church was overflowing, [24:17] and those who could not enter the building filled the [24:19] alleyway beside it. [24:21] The atmosphere was nonetheless solemn and reverent. [24:24] A small chapel of the church was decorated beautifully [24:27] and meaningfully for the occasion. [24:30] The first ceremony of the holy wedding was held in Western [24:32] style clothing, and the second ceremony was held in [24:35] traditional Korean style clothes complete with robes [24:39] and headdresses. [24:41] The significance and value [24:42] of this joyful occasion should have been praised [24:44] and glorified and honored by all nations and people. [24:48] Yet it was marred by a distressing incident. [24:52] The day before the ceremony, the Ministry [24:54] of Home Affairs responding [24:55] to a Christian group’s accusations, arrested [24:58] and interrogated Father Moon. [25:00] He was able to return to his quarters in the church only [25:03] after being subjected to humiliating [25:06] questions until 11:00 PM. [25:09] Yet under the grace of God and the Holy Spirit, father Moon [25:11] and I and the entire congregation put aside this painful [25:15] experience as if it had never happened, [25:18] and conducted the marriage tupper of the Lamb [25:21] with serene hearts. [25:24] Wow. This is the story of just as a brief reflection [25:29] of mother of that day when Father [25:30] and mother married the marriage supper of the Lamb, [25:32] this historical, incredible event in human history. [25:36] And yet it should have been praised [25:38] and honored by all peoples, [25:40] but instead it was conducted in a very humble circumstances. [25:44] And even just the eve of the wedding, everything nearly came [25:48] to an end because of an imprisonment [25:51] and interrogation of Father Moon. [25:53] This is an example of the kind of environment [25:57] that Mother was stepping into to take responsibility for, [26:00] but nonetheless, they were victorious. [26:02] Mother says, we conducted the marriage supper of the lamb [26:05] with sup s serene hearts, right, [26:11] serene hearts, but it shouldn’t have been so difficult. [26:18] and glorified and honored by all nations and peoples right. [26:23] Remember, this is all happening on the [26:25] foundation of Christianity. [26:26] This is all happening on the foundation [26:28] of Christianity’s 2000 year preparation in search [26:34] Yes, we’re waiting for the, the returning Christ, [26:37] but to do what, not to dabble about on the clouds far away, [26:41] just for a select few, [26:43] but to come back on this earth just like Adam did, [26:45] to come back on this earth just like Jesus did, [26:48] and to fulfill that which we stopped Jesus from doing [26:52] to find God’s daughter to marry [26:53] and set the stage for a whole new lineage [26:56] and all to be restored under God’s love and grace. [26:59] So surely if the people who were setting the conditions [27:03] for her birth were aware of her presence, aware [27:07] of her birth, and aware of that ministry at the time, [27:10] surely there should have been more people at the wedding [27:13] and it shouldn’t have been happening in such a humble place [27:16] with humble decorations. [27:17] Think of it. Here’s a question. [27:21] What would it have been so strange [27:24] to conduct a holy wedding centering on the only begotten [27:27] daughter as the center of the providence? [27:29] This is another idea. Think of it. [27:32] We all just think, oh, it’s centering on the man. [27:34] It’s always centering on the man, [27:36] it’s centering on Father the Messiah, the Lord [27:37] of the second advent, very [27:41] Korean, very traditional. [27:45] He comes to save the day, he comes to save everyone, [27:48] even save a woman from the fallen world [27:50] and restore her as a restored eve. [27:51] No, that’s not what mother’s saying. [27:54] Mother’s declaring her true value, identity and role. [28:03] And I just want you to think for a moment, 1960, [28:06] it might seem like a long time ago, [28:08] it might seem prehistoric to many of you watching, [28:13] and it might seem very unusual for a wedding [28:17] to take place centering on the woman. [28:21] So what I’m saying is, [28:22] if Mother was the only begotten daughter at that time [28:26] of the holy wedding, she should have been understood to be [28:29] the culmination of Christian history [28:31] and the culmination of God’s providence. [28:33] Everyone would’ve wanted to see her, [28:35] to touch her, to be close to her. [28:41] Would that have been so strange? [28:43] I wanna draw your attention to an incredible wedding [28:47] that took place 13 [28:49] or 14 years prior to this holy wedding in Korea. [28:53] And this one was in, I [28:55] Declare before you all [28:56] That my whole life, whether it long or short, [28:59] Shall be devote To [29:00] Your service, original footage of our great [29:03] Imperial Family from [29:04] The wedding to which we all belong, [29:06] Princess Elizabeth, Who expo to be [29:09] Queen And leader of the entire British commonwealth [29:13] as you watched the system happen, [29:16] That this was happening in the world state. [29:18] The whole world was the day [29:19] Is November, November the 20th, 1947, [29:22] and air is presumptive to the throne. [29:24] Marries the man of her choice. [29:27] The setting is Westminster ey to its west door com. [29:30] Members of Europe’s royal houses, the piers [29:33] and the people history is in the making three miles away. [29:38] Lieutenant Phillip, Mount Baton, now his royal highness, [29:41] the Duke of Edinburgh leaves [29:48] before any girl waiting day is the day of her life. [29:51] As the 21-year-old princess arrived at Westminster Abbey, [29:55] it was her moment too [29:56] that she must now enter a widening field [29:58] of public duty and responsibility. [30:07] And now the som service begins [30:20] in this moment, charged with great meaning. [30:23] The people of Britain and the Commonwealth joined. [30:27] They listened and remembered in towns [30:29] and villages, in shops, in streets, in homes. [30:43] For Elizabeth’s destiny is great, so great [30:46] that even the solemn splendor [30:48] of this great moment could not altogether overshadow it. [30:52] She who may one day rule over Britain [30:54] and the empire shares this heritage with her husband. [31:04] The organ sounded, and for this hour, [31:06] Elizabeth is not only a queen to be, but a bride. [31:12] A Bride, and now they are man and wife. [31:14] The princess had been in the abbey for nearly an hour. [31:18] What followed the service was the ornate [31:20] pageantry of a state occasion. [31:22] It showed that this was no ordinary wedding, [31:24] but that of a king’s daughter. [31:26] Following the bridal procession came the [31:28] bride’s father and mother. [31:30] And behind them, five kings, five queens and eight s [31:34] and princesses outside the abbey, [31:37] the great crowd waited eagerly. [31:39] There was a roar of excitement as the princess aided [31:42] by her husband appeared [31:43] and stepped into the glass, coach [31:45] for the drive back to the palace. [31:47] The joy of princess [31:48] and people was now complete [31:50] for both the day had been in raw deal, [31:53] frightening in its intensity, [31:55] yet unforgettable in its splendor. [31:57] And now the tension was lifting for the people [32:02] who had come from afar. [32:03] The wedding was a family wedding [32:05] for the entire British people, [32:07] everyone gladly shared in the rejoicing [32:09] because the crown, once again was serving to remind us [32:12] of the common humanity, which unites us all [32:22] outside the palace. [32:23] A hundred thousand people surged forward in a solid mass. [32:27] They wanted Elizabeth, they wanted Philip, [32:33] Huge event. [32:34] And what I wanted to convey with, with, with that bit [32:37] of footage was [32:42] that I, I feel it was a, a foreshadowing, [32:46] like a parallel, a foreshadowing [32:49] because the, [32:53] the royal line in the English royal family was held [32:58] by Princess Elizabeth. [33:00] She was heir to the throne [33:03] and she married a man of her choice [33:07] and she made the decision to do so. [33:09] And by nature of that, he inherited the status, [33:14] uh, of, of an equal status. [33:16] Although by, uh, British monarch rule, [33:21] he would rule as regent, not as king. [33:24] And nonetheless, um, it sets up that kind of [33:29] parallel of understanding. [33:30] It’s even interesting to see which side they stand on [33:33] for the photograph. [33:35] So that photograph on the left in 1947 [33:38] was a wedding attended by millions around the world [33:42] and attended in person by kings [33:45] and queens people at the state level. [33:50] And it’s not just the level of attendance [33:54] and the level of royalty that was given there. [33:57] That’s a Christian nation on a Christian foundation honoring [34:01] the centrality of this princess’s role with the, [34:06] the, the, the narrator described her as [34:08] with all the pageantry of a king’s daughter, right, [34:11] of a king’s daughter of God’s daughter. [34:14] Right? I just feel like there’s so much parallel [34:16] between this and what could have been the holy wedding [34:21] of true parents. [34:23] You see, in very humble circumstances, [34:26] 1960 was a great victory. [34:27] As a great breakthrough. It was the holy wedding. [34:29] It’s the day that that was prophesied [34:32] the marriage supper of the lamb. [34:34] But just as we have to ask the question, [34:37] wouldn’t it have been possible [34:40] for Adam and Eve to do better? [34:41] Wouldn’t it have been possible for the people [34:45] around Jesus to support him better? [34:47] Wouldn’t it have been possible also for true parents [34:51] to be married on a better foundation? [34:54] I think it wasn’t for lack of heaven’s preparation, [34:57] but many times because of human error [35:00] and misunderstanding, nothing ever [35:02] goes right the first time. [35:03] But I really want to draw your attention to the parallels [35:07] between these two scenes. [35:08] And this is, you know, 13 or 14 years gap between them. [35:12] It’s amazing, right? [35:17] So if you were wondering that it, you know, it, it, you know [35:21] what would’ve been possible in 1960, I imagine [35:24] had the foundation of Christianity really understood [35:26] what was going on and helped mother [35:28] and receive mother at that time, then perhaps the bishops [35:31] of the day would’ve been arguing over whose cathedral we [35:34] would use to wed father [35:37] and mother at the marriage supper of the lamb. [35:38] Don’t you think so? And I’m sure some [35:40] of those elder c Christian leaders would’ve also had some [35:43] say even in how to conduct the wedding [35:46] and the pageantry and all this. [35:47] And yet in fact, everything was really articulated by Father [35:51] as the Lord of the second advent on already somewhat [35:54] of a rocky foundation where, um, even the night, the eve [35:58] of the wedding, he was being interrogated by police. [36:01] Do you know why? Because members, ex-members of the church [36:05] who had left at the time went on to rat, [36:07] to the local Christian groups [36:09] and rally around to give father a hard time. [36:12] Why was father receiving such a hard time? [36:14] We’ve been introduced to father from the point of view [36:17] of the Lord of the Second advent, who’s taking on all [36:20] of the burdens of humanity [36:21] and paying this price for all of our failures [36:24] and paying all of this indemnity. [36:26] But just like Adam and Eve were born at a time when victory [36:30] was possible without indemnity, Jesus [36:33] and the only begotten daughter [36:34] of the time should have been able to be born on a foundation [36:36] that could have reached victory without indemnity. [36:40] And so why so much indemnity prior, [36:43] even to the Holy Wedding? [36:44] Mother wants you to pray and understand this and, and just [36:48] because we didn’t understand it ourselves, does that mean [36:51] that mothers incorrect? [36:52] No, not at all. Mothers spot on [36:56] and mother knew, I believe Mother knew who she was even [36:59] before her own mother knew [37:02] or knew more deeply who she was more than her mother knew, [37:04] and more than her grandmother knew, [37:06] and even more than father knew. [37:10] So why don’t we take a look at Mothers short prayer [37:15] on that day of her holy wedding in 1960. [37:17] She’s 17 years old [37:19] and she’s going through all of the process of the wedding [37:23] as guided by father, surrounded by hundreds of members. [37:29] Let’s listen to her prayer. [37:31] She said nothing can fully describe God’s heart now [37:35] to this one place which encompasses the entire [37:38] 6,000 year providence. [37:40] You have sent your daughter, [37:43] I feel indescribably odd in front of your call as you found [37:48] and established me to realize your will I pledge [37:52] to become one with everyone here in all aspects [37:54] of deep heart until the day your will is achieved. [37:59] Now, I gotta tell you, the mother that you know today, [38:03] she’s embracing, she’s soft, she’s loving, she’s forgiving, [38:06] she’s patient, but oh my God is she’s strong. [38:09] This woman is so strong [38:11] and you can see it in her eyes right here at 17. [38:15] This is a strong woman. She knew exactly what she was doing. [38:19] She knew exactly who she was. [38:21] And it’s all here in this two paragraph prayer. [38:26] Nothing can fully describe God’s heart now [38:32] 6,000 years providence. [38:33] That means the, the, the 6,000 years of the providence. [38:37] Let’s go back there a second. [38:40] The 6,000 years of the providence right here, [38:43] the entire 6,000 years [38:45] of the providence culminated [38:47] right here at the holy marriage. [38:49] At the holy wedding. She knew that, she knew [38:51] that this was the end and beginning point of human history. [38:56] She knew that. And she said, in this place [39:01] that encompasses the entire 6,000 years of the providence, [39:05] you, God have sent your daughter, [39:10] you have sent your daughter. [39:15] Not father has found [39:20] me as a candidate to be his wife. [39:27] She did not say father, even though [39:30] as many members may have prayed in the past. [39:32] You know, dear God, even though I am unworthy, how, how, [39:36] how, how honored I am to be chosen for this time [39:39] to be the wife of the Messiah. [39:41] Don’t you think any other woman [39:44] of the day might’ve prayed in that kind of way? [39:47] Can you imagine how many women were jealous? [39:50] They would’ve been jealous of whomever took that role, [39:54] but I promise you, [39:55] you will not have heard such a prayer from any other woman. [39:59] What is unique about this prayer [40:00] and why didn’t we really pray on this a long time ago? [40:10] We are now at the conclusion of the providence [40:13] to this one humble little place [40:16] where you have sent your daughter, [40:20] you have sent that means God, I come from you. [40:23] I am your daughter. I’m before I’m his wife [40:26] or anybody’s, you know, candidate, spouse. [40:30] I am your daughter sent [40:32] by you one and one and only. [40:36] And yet the humility, I feel indescribably [40:41] awe in front of your call. [40:44] She knows it’s God’s call as you found [40:47] and established me to realize your will as you found [40:52] and establish me to realize your will. [40:58] Think about it. Even Father knew the holy wedding was set. [41:01] Even Father knew that all the signs [41:03] and the miracles needed to take place in a way [41:05] that he could be confident that the one he was marrying [41:07] finally was the real one. [41:08] Then if that was the case, [41:10] then she was the real one all along. [41:12] Not just because the other marriages failed, but, [41:14] but she was from birth already that one set to be. [41:17] And now at 17 she says, I pledge to become one [41:21] with everyone here in all aspects of deep heart [41:24] until the day your will is achieved. [41:28] This means that mothers saying, [41:32] I understand the providence, right? [41:35] I understand the providence. [41:37] I understand who I am and who you are [41:39] and who I am in relationship to you. [41:42] I’m humble to you as your daughter. [41:45] I’m grateful that you establish me to realize your will. [41:48] That means I know my responsibility. [41:51] And not only all this, [41:52] but I pledge to become one with everyone here in all aspects [41:56] of deep heart until your, until the day [41:59] of your will is achieved. [42:00] Mother knows, actually, [42:02] I can tell you mother knows in this environment [42:04] that it’s not going to be easy for her. [42:06] It’s already difficult. There is already a precedent set [42:09] for more problems to occur. [42:12] It’s not gonna be easy. It’s going to be difficult. [42:16] And yet she’s also making that pledge [42:18] that she knows she needs to make to be a person [42:20] who embraces everyone and [42:22] therefore will embrace every challenge on the road ahead. [42:26] Not because she has indemnity to pay, not [42:28] because she has problems and, and, [42:33] and, and, and sins in the past or not, [42:36] because she is born of some, some lineage [42:38] that needs to be restored. [42:40] All of those conditions were already met prior to her birth. [42:43] And all of heaven’s responsibilities were, were met [42:46] and her responsibilities were met. [42:48] She showed up ready to go, but she stood. [42:51] She was now standing on a foundation without the support [42:54] of Christianity with her own, um, fiance the night [42:59] before being held by police for a string [43:01] of complicated reasons, all to do with what was lacking [43:05] in preparation for this day. [43:09] But this is the one who stepped in to, [43:12] to pay the price not for herself. [43:16] She says this, I knew I had to step in [43:24] And on that day, true parents were born. [43:28] And from that foundation, [43:30] many blessed families have been born around the world. [43:33] But little did we know that like that wedding, 13 years [43:38] before in London, England, with the Princess [43:43] Elizabeth really being the central figure of [43:47] that line at that generational stage of the development [43:51] of the British monarchy, it’s just a parallel story [43:54] that exemplifies [43:56] that actually such a wedding would’ve been possible. [43:58] You know, perhaps in 1960 we could have, uh, [44:00] even recorded it in color. [44:02] Who knows, right? But, um, it would’ve been a wedding [44:05] that could have been similar in many ways to the wedding [44:08] of Princess Elizabeth, but greater. [44:12] And that’s what mother deserved. [44:14] And yet here she was standing in a very humble home [44:20] with, you know, decorations on the wall that seemed [44:22] to be prepared from, you know, bedsheets and linens [44:26] and the crowns that they wore were, [44:28] were made of paper mache. [44:29] And somebody put so much heart and preparations [44:32] and the flowers and the, [44:33] and the offering tables, yes, it’s glory. [44:36] It’s a beautiful day. I get it guys. [44:38] It was a beautiful victorious day. [44:41] But we have to ask ourselves, could it have been more? [44:45] I, You know, it reminds me of [44:52] my wife’s reaction to the, when she, [44:54] when she came from Japan, when, [44:56] when my wife moved from Japan to America in her youth. [45:00] And she saw the nativity scenes outside the homes [45:04] of American families. [45:05] Christian families, beautiful Christian families, [45:09] celebrating Jesus, not just the presents [45:11] and all of the Christmasy stuff, [45:13] but also taking the time to lay out the nativity scene, [45:17] the scene of Jesus birth on their front lawn, [45:19] beautifully displayed for all to see [45:22] and to remember that the centrality [45:24] of Christmas is not the tree but Jesus’ birth. [45:29] But what my wife always felt was [45:35] Jesus, baby Jesus lying in that cradle naked, [45:38] looked cold at night. [45:40] She would walk by these homes [45:41] and she felt this strange feeling [45:43] of why doesn’t somebody put a blanket on baby Jesus? [45:47] It’s just, uh, uh, uh, it’s just a toy. [45:50] It’s just a, it’s just a piece of art. [45:52] So it is just a display. [45:55] But my wife’s heart towards it was even the image [46:00] of Jesus should be cared for and respected [46:02] and loved, and he looks cold. [46:04] Somebody, please, let’s put a blanket on these, [46:06] these little baby jesuses everywhere out at night under the [46:09] stars in the cold, maybe in some ways very similar [46:13] to the birth of baby Jesus 2000 years ago. [46:17] Yes, it was a holy day. [46:18] Yes, it was a victory just like the [46:20] holy wedding was a victory. [46:21] But, but we, we have made the scene [46:24] of the manger seem like it was all meant to be. [46:27] Is that true? Was it really meant to be? [46:29] Why was there no room at the end? [46:31] Why was there no better preparations? [46:34] Why King Herod coming to create such confusion and conflict? [46:38] Why did they have to be on the run? [46:39] Why was there no support? [46:41] Why even did the inkeeper, uh, only give them the stable? [46:44] And why we making it out like it was a good thing? [46:47] Have you ever, have you ever slept in a stable, I mean, [46:49] apart from the fact it would be cold, [46:52] have you ever heard the sound [46:54] of animal urine hitting a stone slab? [46:57] It’s loud. It will wake you up from a deep sleep. [47:00] And you can imagine the steam [47:03] and the splatter bouncing off, steaming off the stone, [47:08] you know, animals farting [47:10] and pooping in the manger, which can’t be clean [47:15] and it can’t be getting cleaner over the course [47:19] of labor and birth of Jesus Christ. [47:22] The, the, the, the, the Son of God, God’s son, [47:26] the second Adam coming to restore that which Adam failed [47:29] to do, born in a manger, Jesus Christ, born in a manger. [47:33] Yes, I get it. You see what I’m asking you all to realize is [47:38] we tend to make poetry out of [47:42] these things of the past [47:44] as if those things were meant to be. [47:46] But actually it didn’t need to be that way. [47:50] And it’s the same for true parents at the Holy Wedding. [47:53] It didn’t need to be so humble. [47:55] It didn’t need to be father in the, in the, in the, [47:58] you know, the prison with the police the night [48:02] before that, that, you know, we, we make it out to be [48:06] so beautiful, but it, it didn’t need to be that way. [48:08] It wasn’t supposed to be that way. [48:10] And mothers really explaining why. [48:13] If we deny the truth that mother is revealing in this era, [48:16] then none of these things make sense. [48:19] But actually mother’s revelations make total sense. [48:23] So, uh, [48:25] in the next session we’re gonna get onto true parents work. [48:28] Uh, but as it happens, true parents set out on a course [48:33] that it doesn’t get any easier, right? [48:35] Um, the wedding happened in some sense in a wilderness [48:39] situation and the early years [48:41] of the church continued in that way. [48:44] The Lord of the Second advent [48:45] and God’s only begotten daughter set out against all odds [48:49] to create a worldwide foundation when it seemed like [48:52] so many were working against them. [48:56] And yet what an incredible thing they did. [48:58] So we’re gonna get to that next. [48:59] In the meantime, please pray about, uh, everything [49:01] that we’ve, uh, heard so far, [49:04] and let’s see you at the next one. [49:05] Okay?
