Summary. Hyung Jin Moon (b. 1979), youngest son of founders Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han Moon, served as president of the worldwide Unification Church from 2008, named heir-apparent by his father in the 2010 Special Proclamation. His pastoral formation included several years of Buddhist meditation practice that he later integrated into his Unification worship and teaching (notably the “Chun Hwa Dang” workshops at UTS). Hendricks (writing in 2010) presents Hyung Jin as the operational face of populist-style UC ministry. Note on scope: BR predates the post-2012 succession fracture between Hyung Jin (Sanctuary Church) and Hak Ja Han (mainline FFWPU). Atomics in this vault concerning Hyung Jin from BR are confined to the pre-2012 period; later developments are out of scope for those citations.
