Claim. A June 2010 “Special Proclamation” attributed to Sun Myung Moon names Hyung Jin Moon as the “representative heir” of the “absolute and unique command center” of cosmic peace and unity, and (per Hendricks’s gloss) “by the Spirit, the True Parents have bequeathed their absoluteness to Hyung Jin Nim and Yeon Ah Nim.”
Elaboration. The Special Proclamation text, as quoted by Hendricks (the-unificationist-message), reads in part:
“God is the one King of Kings. There is only one set of True Parents. All families are the people who share a single lineage and are the children of one heavenly kingdom. Moreover, the command center of cosmic peace and unity is the absolute and unique command center. Its representative heir is Hyung Jin Moon.”
Hendricks (writing in 2010) reads this as a theological transfer: “This is where God’s grace now flows into and through the veins of the church.” He draws an analogy to how the absoluteness of Jesus was revealed “by the Spirit,” not by flesh and blood — implying that the absoluteness of the True Parents is similarly bequeathed.
This atomic records what the Proclamation says. Its interpretation has since become a major fault line in the post-2012 UC (after Sun Myung Moon’s death) — distinct succession claims by Hak Ja Han (mainstream), Hyung Jin Moon (Sanctuary Church), and others rest on competing readings of this and related texts. Wrestling belongs in a thread.
