Claim. Direct attendance to True Parents in the flesh — something even Adam and Eve never accomplished — is what qualifies fallen people for Kingdom citizenship; the qualification is granted in exchange for this attendance, not in spite of it.
Elaboration. SMM lays out a periodized soteriology: “In the Old Testament Age, people could offer sacrifices; in the New Testament Age they could believe in Jesus, the Son of God; in the Completed Testament Age they can attend the True Parents” (1.2. Our dedication in attending True Parents, 20-340, 1968.7.20). The qualification is explicit: “Even Adam and Eve could not attend them. This condition of having attended God in your lifetime gives you the qualification to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Thus, citizenship of the Kingdom of Heaven is given to you” (ibid, 150-233, 1961.4.15). Failure on the side of natural filial duty (to creation, parents, God) is “exchanged” — through attendance to True Parents, the qualification of “filial child” is bestowed (ibid, 105-112, 1979.9.30). Practical attendance includes literal acts — “even before you eat, you should think, ‘Father, after you!‘” (ibid, 11-218, 1961.8.26) and bowing before True Parents’ picture a thousand or ten thousand times (ibid, 179-77, 1988.7.22). Attendance is therefore the substitutional condition that completes what Adam and Eve left undone.
