Claim. Conjugal love lets a family experience the future Kingdom of Heaven in present daily life.
Elaboration. SMM says God’s ideal love cannot be completed on earth apart from perfected men and women who own love (CSG 4.7 §2, 145-266, 1986.5.15). A true family must realize a family Kingdom of Heaven because spouses need each other to feel “the Kingdom of Heaven of the future” as a present stimulation (37-7, 1970.12.22). Conjugal love “pulls the future joy into the realm of the present,” supplies driving force, and contains love for nation, world, and God. This is why SMM sharpens Jesus’ saying: not only “the Kingdom of Heaven is in your mind,” but “The Kingdom of Heaven is in your family.”
