Claim. The Fall began when Satan entered a love relationship with Eve and she took dominion over Adam — reversing the principled order of dominion and requiring that Eve’s restoration come through a Mary–Jesus pattern.

Elaboration. SMM diagnoses the Fall as a dominion reversal: “Satan entered into a love relationship with Eve. And she went on to cause Adam to fall; that is, she took dominion over him” (CSG 15.1 §3, 22-279, 1969.5.4). The restoration logic then runs through women: “Eve broke the original ideal for both Adam and herself. For this reason, it was necessary for Mary, who represented the fallen Eve, to bring forth the restored Eve who could become the wife of Jesus” (38-70, 1971.1.1). The principle: “Since Eve caused the problem of the reversal of dominion, women must bear responsibility for it.” Mary’s mission was therefore not only to bear Jesus but also to “restore the archangel, Adam, and also restore Eve back to the position she was in before the Fall” — a four-figure recovery program. The Fall is thus structural, not merely moral, and its undoing requires re-staging the original cast.
