Elaboration. Interpreting the saying “All goes well if there is true harmony in the family,” SMM expands the home beyond the nuclear household into a microcosm of creation (CSG 4.2 §7, 139-12, 1986.1.26). Harmony does not come from “a straight line linking two points”; it must “curve and bend” through three points. Hence the family needs grandfather, father, couple, and children, with formation, growth, and completion functioning as a living pattern. The goal is not nostalgia for tradition but a complete spatial relationship: “top and bottom, east and west, north and south, front and back, and left and right” united in joy. A harmonized family is the first architecture of peace.
