Claim. Pledge Three pledges the family to perfect the Four Great Realms of Heart, the Three Great Kingships, and the Realm of the Royal Family — restoring through union the heart-realms Adam and Eve forfeited at the Fall.

Elaboration. “Our family, the owner of Cheon Il Guk, pledges to perfect the Four Great Realms of Heart, the Three Great Kingships and the Realm of the Royal Family, by centering on true love” (5.2. The content of the Family Pledge, 260-190, 1994.5.8). The pledge requires a status earned, not merely confessed: “If Adam and Eve had not Fallen, but perfected themselves, they would have become God’s royal family. Therefore, this part of the Pledge signifies that entering God’s Kingdom requires becoming a restored royal family.” The Cain-realm inclusion is theologically pointed: “by recognizing the realm of Cain as part of the royal family, Satan would have to retreat. This is crucially important” (ibid, 260-158, 1994.5.2). The implication: Pledge Three operationalizes a restoration cosmology in which family-level union dissolves Fall-era brother-conflict and absorbs the Cain-realm into the heavenly royal family.
