Claim. Home Church is the smaller altar on which an individual member can replicate, in compressed form, the world-level indemnity course Reverend Moon walked on the global stage.

Elaboration. SMM names Home Church the inheritable substitute for his own world course: “Until now, the True Parents have made restitution so that all people would be able to develop through the individual, family, tribe, race, nation, and world levels … Because I did these things and brought the representative victory, you can inherit this 100 percent. And based on my victory, you can go forward and achieve your own victory through a seven-year course. You can achieve what I have achieved through my life on the worldwide stage. You need your own offering or a foothold, which is a smaller model of the world stage … this is Home Church” (CSG 13.2 §1, 109-184, 1980.11.1). The altar imagery is explicit: “An altar is a place of offering for the shedding of blood … You have undergone worldwide level hardship on a small altar in order to inherit the altar I have erected” (ibid, 122-119, 1982.11.1). Each member’s seven-year Home Church course is structurally homologous to True Parents’ worldwide course — same indemnity conditions condensed onto 360 homes — making the inheritance of True Parents’ victory conditional on completing the smaller offering.
