Claim. Home Church is the providential mechanism for uniting the Cain-Abel tribes within a member’s lineage — the unification that Jesus failed to accomplish between Joseph’s and Zachariah’s families.
Elaboration. SMM repeatedly maps Home Church onto the unresolved Cain-Abel pattern of Jesus’ time: “The death of Jesus was due to Zachariah’s family. Jesus could not bring unity based on Joseph’s family. He also could not bring unity based on Zachariah’s family … Zachariah’s family … was the family of John the Baptist” (CSG 13.2 §3.1, 115-82, 1981.11.4). The structural correspondence makes Home Church the second-attempt mechanism: “A tribal messiah must embrace the two clans of Cain and Abel. They must embrace Cain’s family and their own family. Jesus should have embraced Joseph’s family and Zachariah’s family. In the same way that Jesus’ death was due to the disunity between these two families, we need Home Church and tribal church today” (ibid, 210-181, 1990.12.19). The Home Church 360-homes target functions as the Cain-side foundation; the member’s own family functions as the Abel-side foundation; only their union — accomplished in the practitioner’s lifetime — qualifies the practitioner as a tribal messiah and removes the indemnity barrier between tribe and nation.
