Claim. God founded the universe on the principle that every being lives for the sake of its partner — without this, true love, ideal, peace, and happiness are unreachable, even by God.
Elaboration. §3.2.3 reports God’s own decision-procedure for the creation: “On the one hand there is the subject partner and its path to live for the sake of the object partner, and on the other hand vice versa… After considering, He decided that if He were to place the ideal origin as in the case of the former, not only Himself but all people in the world would need the object partner to live for themselves. In other words, all would become subject partners and not object partners. If this were to be the case, the path to unity would be blocked” (3.2. Humankind is the center of love in the created universe, 75-318, 1975.1.16). The resolution: “God had no choice but to establish the principle that not only Himself but also all human beings need to live for the sake of others” (ibid). The implication is that egoism is metaphysically excluded from the architecture of creation. SMM concludes: “Egoism should be demolished. Once that is done, the world can be unified” (ibid, 61-265, 1972.9.1).
