Claim. The proper order of explanation is love → subject-object pair → action → energy — not the other way around; the concept of love existed before the universe came into being.
Elaboration. §2.2 reverses the standard physics-first explanatory order. SMM lays out a chain: “for there to be energy, action must take place, and for action to take place, there must be subject and object partners, and prior to the subject and object partners there needs to be love” (2.2. Subject and object partners in a love relationship, 247-119, 1993.5.1). The corollary is that the concept of love is older than the cosmos: “Even God came into being for love. Thus, the concept of love was there, even before the universe came into being” (ibid). Scientists who start from energy have it backward. The implication is metaphysical: love is not a derivative feeling produced by sufficiently complex matter but the prior condition under which there is any complexity to produce.
