Claim. Nothing was created for itself; every faculty and sexed body exists for the sake of a partner in true love.
Elaboration. SMM argues that there is “no basis for self-centered individualism” because human life begins from parents and every relational term presupposes its counterpart (CSG 4.12 §1, 287-25, 1997.8.10). Eyes, ears, mouth, hands, and sexual organs are all described as created for the sake of the partner. The force that gathers them is true-love. This makes individualism a violation of creation’s structure, not only a moral weakness. The body itself testifies that love is received through another.
