Claim. “Registration” is the providential analogue of the Korean wedding registration in which a bride is moved from her birth-family’s register into her husband’s: a person leaves Satan’s register and enters True Parents’ royal-family register.
Elaboration. SMM grounds the concept in everyday family law: “Once a woman is married, she needs to have her name entered into the family register of her husband. She needs to have her name removed from the register of her original family and have it moved to that of her husband” (1.1. What is registration?, 177-302, 1988.5.22). The providential application: “God and True Parents are weaving history together, and the era of registration will arrive. At that time, you will transfer your name into the new family register. Are you ready? Have you become sons and daughters of God like True Parents have?” (ibid, 201-234, 1990.4.22). “You will be registered in the Book of Life of the Kingdom of God” (ibid, 146-230, 1986.7.1). The Blessing is therefore the initial registration; the final registration awaits the restored nation. Registration is not metaphor — it is a literal change of jurisdictional belonging.
