Claim. Restoring the right of the eldest son requires loving and subjugating the satanic world rather than destroying it — the love-the-enemy commandment is not an ethical recommendation but the operational mechanism through which Satan releases his hold.
Elaboration. SMM ties Jesus’ enemy-love command directly to the eldest-son recovery: “That is why Jesus exhorted us to love our enemies… To love an enemy doesn’t just mean to love an individual enemy. Unless you love the enemy family, the enemy tribe, the enemy people, the enemy nation and the enemy world, you cannot regain the right of the eldest son that the enemy world holds” (4.1. Restoration of the right of the eldest son, 131-182, 1984.5.1). The mechanism is conditional subjugation: “go there in order to fight and subjugate people with love, and teach them about everything that we know” (ibid). The final signature-procedure is striking: “You must receive this public approval; ‘You can now become a child qualified to go to the heavenly kingdom.’ Who must sign this approval? Satan must. After Satan signs this, you will sign it, and then True Parents must sign it” (ibid, 141-202, 1986.2.22). Restoration is therefore a juridical handover, not an act of conquest.
