Claim. The sexual organs are not unclean or shameful but the most holy place — the place where God descends to dwell, the antenna for vertical love, the sanctuary that the Fall defiled.
Elaboration. §2.3 deliberately overturns the standard religious framing of sexuality as low or shameful. “You think of the male and female genitals as most indecent, but that is not true. They are most holy. Centering on true love, God intended to expand His ideal kingdom from there. They are the extremely holy sanctuary” (2.3. The sexual organs are the most holy place, where God dwells, 245-151, 1993.2.28). The antenna metaphor: “the antenna of love in human beings is the male and female genitals… People are God’s antennas. They are the antennas focused on Him” (ibid, 134-197, 1985.7.20). The Fall transformed this site from sanctuary to evil because it broke its proper function: “Through the Fall, the organs came to be the worst thing, but originally, they are extremely holy” (ibid, 248-55, 1993.6.20). The implication is that the recovery the Unification Movement seeks is not the suppression of sexuality but its restoration to sacred, exclusive, ordered use within blessed marriage.
