Claim. The spirit-world has no days, years, or distances — billions of miles can be crossed in an instant by the power of love, which is itself the locomotion principle of that world.
Elaboration. SMM strips out time-space constraints systematically: “In the spirit world, there are no such things as one year, two years, or even a day … Once you enter the spirit world, you do not need to sleep. You can live without sleeping. You can live without eating” (1.1. The spirit world is an infinite world that transcends time and space, 176-294, 1988.5.13). The mechanism of movement is not physical but affective: “If you wish to see someone you love, that person will instantly appear before you” (ibid, 210-225, 1990.12.23). Love is the universal velocity: “The speed of love is by far the fastest. The speed of light can cover 300 million meters … but love is thousands of times faster than this” (ibid, 294-310, 1998.8.9). What people in the spirit world look like is fixed at peak beauty: “You live with the appearance you had at the age when you were the most beautiful” (ibid, 294-309, 1998.8.9). The spirit world is therefore a love-physics environment, not a metaphor.
