Elaboration. SMM tracks the loyalty progression onto the standard servant → adopted-son → true-son schema: “In the age of the servant, you must fulfill absolute loyalty. In the age of the adopted child, you have to practice absolute loyalty in your life. If you do not go through these two stages, you cannot reach the standard to become one with God’s begotten children. You cannot reach the standard of being unified mind and body with God” (CSG 14.4 §2, 45-82, 1971.6.13). Loyalty is therefore not just a virtue but a successively-deepening providential condition: each age has its own absolute loyalty content, and skipping any age forfeits the next.
