Claim. The final goal of restoration is not individual salvation but the realization of the true family — the four-position-foundation completed and lived out, beginning with the True Parents’ family and expanding through Blessed Families to the world.
Elaboration. §2.3.4 closes the book by naming the family as the providential endpoint. The whole providential arc — diagnosis of the Fall, restoration through True Parents, the Blessing as engrafting — points toward one thing: families that embody God’s original ideal. The earlier section anticipates this: “the ideal of God’s creation requires continuously giving out… The process of investing completely and forgetting establishes an eternal action, and on this basis, the logic of immortality can arise” (ibid, citing ch1 §1.3). And in §2.3: “The ideal history and new culture, love, life, family, nation, world and cosmos, together with God’s love, will begin based on the True Parents” (2.3.4. Final goal: realizing the ideal of the true family, 67-226, 1973.6.27). The implication closes the cosmic argument of Book11: an entire chapter on the universe (ch1), an entire chapter on creation (ch2), and an entire chapter on fall and restoration (ch3) converge on a single conclusion — that the unit through which God’s purpose is realized is the family, not the individual, the church, or the nation.
