Claim. God’s deepest place is reached through ever-deeper family love; families that love their children more and more deeply eventually meet God’s love and become the foundation for His kingdom on earth.
Elaboration. SMM gives an unusually intimate prescription for finding God: “God exists covertly in the deepest place. The deeper we go down, the greater love becomes until finally we come to discover God’s true love. If you love your children more and more deeply, you will eventually meet God’s love. Such families of true love become the foundation for His kingdom on earth. Heaven can be located in no other place” (CSG 15.2 §4, 161-325, 1987.3.8). The corresponding interracial principle: “Even if a husband and wife are of different racial or cultural backgrounds, if the family is unified in God’s true love, there will be no racial or cultural clashes among the children… The true family centered on true love is the earthly base where God can reside and becomes the starting point of a true nation and a true world of peace” (271-88, 1995.8.22). God’s Kingdom is not a separate metaphysical place to be located but the natural extension of a sufficiently loving family.
