Claim. Because God has no physical body, He can only govern both the spiritual and physical worlds by appearing through a human form; Adam and Eve were meant to be that form, and True Parents fulfill it now.
Elaboration. “Without a body, God cannot govern the spiritual and physical worlds … God would have appeared after assuming the body of Adam and Eve had they not fallen” (5.1.-god-finally-reveals-himself, 133-91, 1984.7.10). True Parents step into this unfulfilled role: “The True Parents are Parents of the individual, family, tribe, ethnic people, and nation. In the future, God will appear in the form of the True Parents in the spirit world” (ibid, 98-224, 1978.8.1). This means God’s first full self-revelation in history occurs only in the Completed Testament Age — the age of attendance — because only now does the form He needs finally exist without satanic corruption.
