Elaboration. SMM says the church is not seeking “individual salvation” but salvation of family, tribe, people, nation, and world (CSG 4.10 §7, 35-163, 1970.10.13). People are to go to heaven with their families and tribes, rooted in true-parents as true ancestors. This gives the church an ecclesial identity shaped by lineage and family expansion rather than by private religious achievement. The implication is that membership is ordered toward household restoration and tribal responsibility.
