Claim. When the True Parents enter the spirit-world, God will be in their heart and they will be one body with Him, unifying the spiritual and physical worlds through a single embodied axis.
Elaboration. SMM specifies the resulting unity: “When True Parents go to the spirit world, God will be in their heart and they will be one in body with Him. The entire spirit world and this earth will unify. God would enter True Parents’ heart and True Parents would be within God. This is the same as the relationship between our mind and body” (1.2. The ruler of heaven and earth is the axis of the universe, 248-52, 1996.4.28). The corollary for Adam’s original mission: “If Adam had not fallen, who would he have become? In the spirit world he would have become God. He would have been the Lord with bodily form in the spirit world” (ibid, 199-144, 1990.2.16). The “True Parents Day” that would have been Alpha and Omega comes via this unification (ibid, 248-50, 1996.4.28). The earth-spirit-world axis is therefore not symbolic but ontological — without the embodied True Parents linking the two worlds, God remains formless and the cosmos remains unintegrated.
