Claim. The era of the returning Christ inaugurates the completion-stage resurrection — when humans are resurrected both spiritually and physically. God’s instrument is the Completed Testament (new truth fulfilling OT and NT promises); the human portion is to serve and attend the Lord on earth; the justification mode is justification by attendance. Believers become divine spirits and live in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, passing into the Kingdom of Heaven in heaven at death.

Elaboration. Per 2.2.4. The Providence of Completion-Stage Resurrection: “Christ at the Second Advent brings the new truth with which to fulfill the promises of the Old and New Testaments; it may be called the Completed Testament. Believing in this truth, people are to serve and attend the Lord on the earth, that they may fulfill their responsibility for the providence and be justified before God. Therefore, this era is called the age of justification by attendance.”

This is the structural payoff of dp-second-advent-required-to-complete-physical-salvation: completion-stage resurrection achieves what the cross alone could not — physical as well as spiritual resurrection, divine-spirit-level maturation, and citizenship in the actual (not-yet-existing) Kingdom of Heaven in heaven.

Doctrinal significance of “justification by attendance”:

This atomic explains why UC discipleship has historically emphasized physical proximity to True Parents — it is the structural correlate of justification-by-attendance.
