Claim. When Adam and Eve fell, they bound humanity in blood-ties to Lucifer (renamed Satan after the fall) and formed a four-position foundation centered on Satan. Through human dominion, Satan thereby gained sovereignty over the whole creation.
Elaboration. Per 4.1. Satan and Fallen Humanity: “Satan is the name given to the Archangel Lucifer after he fell. When the first human ancestors fell, they bound themselves in blood ties with Lucifer. They formed a four position foundation yoked to Satan, and thus all humanity became the children of Satan.” Jesus’s “you are of your father the devil” and “brood of vipers” rebukes presuppose this lineage. Paul’s groaning-for-adoption (Rom 8:23) acknowledges the same: “no one belongs to the lineage of God.”
Had Adam and Eve reached maturity and built a four-position-foundation centered on God, “the world of God’s sovereignty would have been established at that time.” Because they fell while immature, the world inverted: it came under Satan’s sovereignty. Hence the Bible calls Satan “the ruler of this world” (31) and “the god of this world” (2 Cor 4:4).
The cosmic-scope consequence flows from Ch 1’s dp-humans-as-center-and-purpose-of-cosmos: because humans were the structural center of creation, Satan’s domination of humans extended his dominion to everything. Hence 22 — “the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now” — describes the creation’s agony under Satan, longing for unfallen people to vanquish him.
