Claim. The Last Days is the time when humanity is restored to the spiritual level Adam and Eve reached just before the Fall — the top of the growth stage. At this restored level, many people across the world can directly communicate with the spirit-world (visions, dreams, revelations), fulfilling 28’s prophecy of poured-out Spirit.
Elaboration. Per 2.2.6. Spiritual Phenomena in the Last Days: “Adam and Eve fell at the top of the growth stage” (see dp-fall-occurred-at-top-of-growth-stage). “Human beings are now being restored to the top of the growth stage through the providence of restoration, having passed through the Old Testament Age and the New Testament Age. The Last Days is the time when people return to the spiritual level reached by the first human ancestors just prior to the Fall.”
At that spiritual level, direct perception of the spirit-world becomes possible — “just as Adam and Eve prior to the Fall were able to converse directly with God, today many people on earth can communicate with the spirit world.” DP reads 28 / 17 (“I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams”) as the predicted concrete sign of the Last Days.
This atomic extends Ch 3’s recurring Last Days framing with the experiential marker: the rise in spiritual phenomena (mediums, visions, charismatic revival, near-death experiences) is not random and not necessarily diabolical — it is the predicted signature of restoration approaching the pre-Fall spiritual ceiling.
It also sets up the discernment problem: at this level, people receive revelations that look spiritually authoritative (including, e.g., “you are the Lord” — see dp-you-are-the-lord-revelations-are-position-recognition-not-identity) and can mistake mission-position for messianic-identity, becoming antichrists if uninstructed.
