Claim. A cluster of Jesus’s own prophecies about the Last Days — that the Lord must suffer and be rejected, find no faith on earth, repudiate even devout miracle-workers, find the Kingdom unrecognized — can be made coherent only if Christ returns by physical birth in humble circumstances; a literal cloud-return defeats every one of these prophecies.

Elaboration. Per 2.2. Christ Will Return as a Child on the Earth, the argument runs prophecy-by-prophecy:

25 — “he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.” If Christ returned on clouds with trumpets and glory, no sin-ridden world would persecute him. Rejection-prophecy fixes physical-birth as the return-mode.

8 — “when the Son of man comes, will he find faith on earth?” If Christ came in supernatural majesty, even sleepy Christians would believe instantly; the faithlessness-finding is fulfillable only if he comes humbly and is mistaken for a heretic.

Matt 7:22–23 — “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name… I never knew you.” If Christ returned in glory, miracle-working devout believers would worship him immediately; he can repudiate them only if his humble physical return is rejected by those same devout sky-gazers.

Luke 17:20–37 series — kingdom “not coming with signs to be observed” (born quietly), kingdom “within you” (grows in believing hearts), “you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of man and you will not see it” (his day comes and disbelievers miss it), “Lo, there! Lo, here! Do not follow them” (against self-proclaimed messiahs), “as the lightning… so will the Son of man be” (news traveling worldwide), “as in the days of Noah” (he calls to enter the ark of truth and is rejected), “whoever seeks to gain his life will lose it” (following in humble form requires risking everything), “where the body is, there the eagles will be gathered” (he appears among faithful believers, not in midair).

Closure via Revelation 12: the male child “born of a woman” who rules with the rod of iron (= the Word) is Christ at the Second Advent; the woman-as-Church reading depends on the cloud-return premise it cannot establish.

Structure is defeated alternative: any literal-cloud reading must explain how every Luke prophecy still applies. None can.
