Claim. After the crucifixion, Jesus passed through a forty-day post-resurrection period that constituted the foundation of faith for the spiritual third worldwide course, during which he became the spiritual fulfillment of the tablets, the Ark, and the Tabernacle that Moses had built.
Elaboration. dp-3-the-providence-of-restoration-under-the-leadership-of-jesus §3.3.1 supplies the previously-undisclosed reason behind the forty-day resurrection period (3): it was a dispensation of forty for the separation of Satan performed by Jesus while spiritually standing in the JtB-position, the foundation of faith for the third worldwide course.
The resurrected jesus was structurally different from the pre-crucifixion Jesus: “no longer a man seen through physical eyes… he transcended time and space” — appearing inside locked rooms (19), accompanying disciples to Emmaus unrecognized, then vanishing (Luke 24:13-31). This trans-physical condition is the indicator that the post-resurrection mission was spiritual in DP’s specific sense.
By completing the forty-day spiritual Satan-separation, Jesus laid the spiritual foundation of faith, then secured the position of Abel (still in the role of JtB with respect to that condition). The believers who repented and returned to serve him fulfilled the indemnity condition to remove fallen nature, laying the spiritual foundation of substance and the spiritual foundation for the Messiah. Upon this foundation, Jesus ascended from JtB-position to the position of spiritual Messiah and sent the holy-spirit.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit then became the spiritual True Parents (cf. dp-rebirth-requires-spiritual-true-parents-jesus-and-holy-spirit) — Jesus as spiritual True Father, Holy Spirit as spiritual True Mother — beginning the work of spiritual engrafting and rebirth. The resurrected Jesus thereby became the spiritual fulfillment of the tablets, Ark, and Tabernacle, with believers’ bodies as “branch temples” united to the main spiritual temple.
