The First, Second, and Third World Wars are not merely products of political, economic, and ideological conflict but are providentially required three-stage indemnity events — paralleling formation, growth, and completion — that together restore the three great blessings worldwide, recapitulate worldwide victory over Jesus’s three wilderness temptations, fulfill Satan’s last-ditch struggle and God’s three corresponding counterattacks, and reclaim God’s sovereignty over the world from the Cain-type counterfeit sovereignty Satan has built.
Elaboration. Per Part 2 Ch 6 §4.1: four convergent providential causes generate the three world wars.
First, Satan’s last desperate struggle. Since the Fall, Satan has built defective imitations of God’s ideal world (per dp-satan-builds-counterfeit-societies-in-advance-of-god-culminating-in-communism); Satan’s antichrist appears before the return of Christ. Just as Satan worked through Pharaoh to wage a bitter struggle keeping Israel in Egyptian bondage — entitling God’s side to strike with three supernatural signs — in the Last Days Satan’s last struggle entitles God’s three counterattacks, manifested as the three world wars.
Second, the three world wars fulfill worldwide indemnity conditions to restore the three great blessings (individual perfection, ideal-family multiplication, dominion over creation — per dp-history-progresses-by-dividing-good-from-evil-toward-kingdom-of-heaven). Satan’s unprincipled worlds have realized defective outward forms of all three blessings; God’s side must prevail over them through the formation-growth-completion three-stage cascade.
Third, all humanity must overcome on the worldwide level the three temptations by which Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness. Jesus’s three temptations are Christians’ three temptations as individuals, families, nations, and finally world-level.
Fourth, the worldwide indemnity condition to restore God’s sovereignty. Had unfallen Adam matured, he would have realized God’s sovereignty directly. Restoration requires the world be first divided into Cain-type and Abel-type worlds, then three final wars in which heavenly Abel prevails over satanic Cain — restoring through indemnity Cain’s murder of Abel on the worldwide horizontal level.
Significance. Frames the entire 20th-century geopolitical history as third-Adam-style providential indemnity cascade. World wars are not historical contingencies but structurally required by the formation/growth/completion logic of the providence. DP’s most testable specific-history claim about the modern era depends on this four-cause framework.
