Claim. Because Satan formed kinship with the first humans before God could, Satan has consistently preempted God’s providential plans by building unprincipled societies in advance — counterfeits of the ideal society God intends — culminating at the end of history in the communist world as a distorted image of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
Elaboration. Per Part 2 Ch 5 §7: on the basis of blood-tie precedence with fallen humans, Satan works through fallen people to realize in advance of God a perverted form of the ideal society God intends. Human history witnesses the rise of unprincipled societies built on twisted versions of the Principle. At history’s end, before God restores the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, Satan will have built its unprincipled-world counterpart — the communist world.
The pattern generalizes: a false likeness precedes the appearance of the true. Jesus’s prophecy of false Christs before the Second Advent is one application.
DP applies the preemption pattern to every stage. Satan formed clan societies (Egyptian dynasties from the first dynasty), feudalistic societies, and monarchic societies (Babylon under Hammurabi, Hittites in Syria) before God built the corresponding chosen-people stage. Even within the satanic world, the original mind produces relatively good vs relatively evil kingdoms, a low-grade good-vs-evil division.
The communist endpoint is the strongest case: Satan’s “scientific socialism” (dialectical-and-historical materialism) builds a planet-scale unprincipled society in advance of God’s intended interdependence-mutual-prosperity Kingdom. Historical materialism asserts history begins in primitive collective society and consummates in ideal communist society — DP responds that materialism’s errors come from not accounting for the fundamental cause of progress (the original-mind / providence interaction).
Significance. Provides DP’s causal account of why anti-Christian and counterfeit-religious movements appear at the same historical moments as providential developments — they are not accidents but structural Satan-precedence. Communism is not just a competing ideology; it is the eschatological-stage counterfeit of God’s interdependence-society. This frames DP’s anti-communism as theologically load-bearing rather than politically contingent.
