Elaboration. SMM defines the Fall not as moral lapse alone but as a transmission event: “The devil, through the Fall, sowed the seeds of false love, false life and false lineage” (1.1. The Fall and the True Parents). Because individuals are “the fruit of the love, life and lineage that they inherited from their ancestors,” the corruption is structural and hereditary, not just behavioral. Every fallen person therefore occupies the position of God’s enemy by birth.
The mission of true-parents is correspondingly tripartite: to wipe away Satan’s false love, false life, and false blood, and to separate individuals, families, tribes, ethnic peoples, and nations from these elements. Peace on earth is impossible until this triadic inheritance is shaken off. This grounds the centrality of the blessing ceremony in UC practice — the Blessing is the mechanism by which the false lineage is exchanged for the true one.
The formulation also makes the polemical sharpness of UC anthropology visible: the standard Christian framing of original sin as guilt/depravity is here recast as a literal blood/lineage problem, which is why a parental messiah (not merely a sacrificial one) is required.
