Claim. Because Satan holds the elder-son position by principle, God cannot love Abel without first establishing a condition of having loved Satan — and True Parents therefore must give the love of Heaven to the Cain-world even while it opposes them.

Elaboration. The argument depends on a structural reading of birth-order privilege: in the principle-of-creation, the elder son receives love first. Since Satan usurped the elder-son position via the fall, God cannot bypass that order without violating His own principle. Therefore ‘if God wants to love Abel, He must establish the condition of having loved Satan, the eldest son, first. Without showing such love to Satan, there is no way for Him to love the second son. This is according to the Principle’ (Section 3. The Course Prior to Becoming the True Parents The Fall led to the appearance of false parents. Because of this, I have had to fol- low a suffering course in order to estab- lish True Parents and a heavenly nation in the midst of this satanic world. This has to be restored by parents. The par- ents must take the responsibility for and indemnify what was jeopardized. (131-62, 1984.4.1) In order to be a True Parent, one must love the world of Cain. This Cain world is the world of the eldest son. The Cain world is just like the world of the fallen eldest son. Therefore, without the True Parents making a condition of having fully given the love of Heaven even amid the opposition of this world, the satan- ic world cannot be restored. The eldest son must be loved first. Since Satan is the eldest son in principle, if God wants to love Abel, He must establish the con- dition of having loved Satan, the eldest son, first. Without showing such love to Satan, there is no way for Him to love the second son. This is according to the Principle. So the path that the mother, Eve, should walk is to unite Cain and Abel and return to Adam. Therefore, no matter how universal a love Mother).

The pastoral consequence is that True Mother cannot receive ‘universal love’ yet — Eve’s path is first to unite Cain and Abel and return to Adam. SMM autobiographically corroborates: while being tortured by communists, he prayed for their blessing rather than retribution. The doctrine grounds UC’s distinctive ethic of love-toward-enemies as restoration-mechanism, not merely virtue.

This is a strong claim worth wrestling: it implies God is bound by procedural love-order even toward Satan, which constrains divine action by divine-constraint logic. Critics may object that ‘loving Satan’ overreads Matthew 5:44 and risks ontological symmetry between God and Satan. The claim collides with classical theologies that treat Satan as already judged and outside the economy of redemption.
