Elaboration. The video uses Amos 5 to show that music is not the point by itself. Israel is keeping a commanded festival with “loud noisy music,” but God says, “Take away from me the noise of your songs” and calls instead for justice and righteousness (03:06-03:38, Transcript). The interpretive summary is blunt: “your songs are not the point. Your heart is the point.” If the heart and life are wrong, then “the songs are just trash” and become noise rather than worship (03:38-03:59).
